Hmm like any other typical sports day i had.

Hot, boring, tired.

I could tell the fac heads were quite desperate in getting people to cheer cause they were all escaping from the terraces.

It was kinda hilarious seeing people chasing after the milo vans. Charmaine commented that they were like fans chasing after movies stars. Really funny, the way people followed the milo van as the uncle refused to open it and drove to another corner. An uncle was so amused that he whipped out his phone and started recording this strange 'phenomenon'.

I saw a small high school boy salivating as the uncle unlocked the container containing milo. He stuck his tongue out and moved it across his lips.

Me, meng fei, ah ma, char, cherntze and shenyi escaped to some corner near high school and enjoyed a harmoc rendition of " Love Story".

Haha the people around us listened in as well. Then more harmoc people joined in the playing.

Super cool. A little advertising here: Do buy tickets for harmoc concert. It's on the 1st June:) Support meng fei and ah ma! They practised really hard for this concert. Tickets at $6

Walked to serene centre macs to have lunch with char, cherntze and shenyi.

we reached there super early, like when they are still serving breakfast at macs.

I was contemplating whether to buy Big breakfast. The fragrance of freshly-baked hashbrowns is simply irresistable.

Then it was 11.00am sharp. The macs people are really efficient they turned the board menu at 11.00 sharp. I looked at my watch when they turned the board.

We actually saw flies in macs. Can you believe it?

Cherntze said the flies looked like lovers. They fly in the same direction and height. They flew in swirls. But quite irritating lah.

Then we joined meng fei and ah ma at island creamery for dessert.

Hmm still think their ice-cream is still too creamy. That's why it's called island creamery, get it? :D

We took a photo as a souvenir of our trip there.

See if you can spot it on the walls of island creamery. You will be in for a surprise:)

But the probability of spotting it would probably be quite low , considering the huge collection of photos left by many other ice-cream lovers.

But still, you might want to try your luck there.

An advice from me: Although island creamery ice-cream is delicious, don't go so often for those who are weight-conscious. Unless you wanna get fat:P

Walked with charmaine to island creamery to have ice-cream before meet the parents.

Had a good heart-to-heart talk with char while we walked there.

I guess we were quite common in some ways and how we felt about some people.

Hmm the ice-cream at island creamery is not bad, but not as good as I had expected it to be.

Slightly too milky for the nutella and cookies and cream flavour.

Maybe I should try other flavours first before coming to a definite conclusion.

Hmm. Oh wells.

Now that I am in the library exco, my responsibility just became heavier.

Whee I am now the editor for the library's newsletter a.k.a publications head.

But sadly, not a lot of people read it.

Thus my job is to promote it and make it a more interesting and fun read.

It's quite a nice job, considering that I love writing to a certain extent.

The scary thing is that after I finish editing. writing and compiling the newsletter, a copy will be given to the principal, vice-principals and teaachers. So my work have to be of a certain standard.

But I think the experience would be good.

Imagine.

Your hardwork.

Read by people. ( although not many :P )

But still.

I have always thought being a magazine editor of an entertainment or fashion magazine like I 周刊 would be fun and it's one of my ambitions in the future. It's one of my career alternatives if I don't get into the medical stream in the future.

I would like to intern at some magazine or newspaper office after the A levels or during the holidays. It would be a dream come true. :D

Actually I wasn't too disappointed about the results. I sort of had a kind of feeling beforehand that I wouldn't get it. Sixth sense as people would say. I think I have a pretty strong and accurate sixth sense. Now that I think about it, my interview was totally screwed up. I gave stupid answers which are definitely so unscholar-ly. Plus I am one of those weakest in chinese.

I guess me and the scholarship are just not meant to be.

In a big dilemma right now.

Hmm just got into library exco. But I have also applied for YLEP exco.

I was told that I could only choose between YLEP or library.

I love both CCAs.

It's really hard to make a choice.

What should I do?

AH!!

My dad tried to murder me today.

Serious.

He hung a deceptively innocent looking snow white and the seven dwarfs jigsaw puzzle over the table where i was busy doing my bio tutorial.

Then coincidentally, my mum came in with a bowl of dessert.

It was peaceful at first, with me enjoying the bowl of cool dessert while doing bio tutorial at the same time in the fully air-conditioned room.

Ah bliss.

Then suddenly.

I was caught off guard.

A whirlwind of events started unfolding right before my very bewildered, shocked, widely-opened eyes.

First, the portrait of snow white and seven dwarfs fell.
It hit the table lamp. And my head.

Then the table lamp fell. And hit my head again.

The table lamp knocked over my bowl of dessert and dirtied the tutorial I was doing. And my clothes.

I didn't know whether to rub my painful head or to save my tutorial that i had painstakingly done for the past hour or to change out of my soiled clothes or to scream for help.

I screamed for help.

My cute father rushed in. He thought an earthquake had just happened in the room. Haha actually it did seem an epic earthquake had taken place in the room. My mum rushed in to save me with a cloth. I asked her to wipe my tutorial first. Luckily my tutorial was savable. My heartless brother laughed at my plight and even made fun of me.

Brother: haha sis, your scream was so pathetic. 你叫得好凄惨啊。

My dad tried to rehang the portrait. I vehemently objected. I was afraid of a 2nd murder attempt.

What an eventful day.

Went to watch 《天冷就回来》with cherntze, ah ma, mengfei, yanjie and jiaqiang + charmaine's dad.

Charmaine couldn't make it cause she had dance prac, so her dad had to replace her.

Jiaqiang left halfway during the show.

What a pity:(

《天冷就回来》was a SUPER DUPER UBER nice show.

None in the audience left the drama centre with dry eyes at the end of the show.

Beautiful plot. Fantastic actors. Great singing.

I think I cried like 3 times throughout the show?

I could hear sniffling from the people sitting beside me. ( Read: ah ma and cherntze)

A few dares were quite M-18 in nature. But it was merely for pure fun:)

Upon Jillian's suggestion, I decided to ask Jiawei for travellling advice:)

OMG! I didn't realise he lives so close to me:O Like just one bus stop away. I didn't think anyone would live at where i live.

Lesson learnt: Never take bus 66. It take ULTRA long to get home.

I got home at record time of like 40min? YAY!

I get to save 30 min everyday, 15 hours every month, 7.5 days in a year.

Hmm...slept at 2.45am yesterday( Or should i say this morning?) I slept too much in the day due to the drowsy effects of drugs the doctor prescribed. I was like in a super-alert-active-and-couldn't-get-to-sleep mode.

Woke up at noon.

Great. Half a day gone.

Saturday is basically gone, with bio lecture in morning til 1045, piano lesson at 2pm, stj at 6pm.
Today is 3/4 gone too.

Leaving me with sunday afternoon and evening to rush out all my assignments and study for tests.

Sometimes I wonder how nice it can be if i could escape to some secluded corner in the world and enjoy life.

Running after sheeps and goats in the meadows.

Fresh mountain air and sparkling river creeks.

Lying without worries on the lush green carpet grass.

Gathering berries and fruits from bushes and trees.

Pure bliss.

No homework.

No stress.

Life should be like that.
