hmm Oops. Just one day of absence and i have so much things to do and catch up:( Oh wells.

Forgot to see linlaoshi today to retake my gsc compre test. hope she doesn't scold me. But anyway, i don't think i will have the time to take the test though. I had to sit for my bio test today and go for chem remedial.

Didn't manage to study for my bio test. Ms Tsang was sitting right in front of me in the consultation room when i was taking the test. You can't imagine how stressful that is. I couldn't really concentrate. Even though she tried her best not to stare at me. She asked me how was the test. I gave her a sheepish smile and told her it was really bad cuz i didn't study:( She gave me a funny look when she saw my genetics diagram. I think I lost 5 marks already:(

today during chem lesson, mengfei offered me and char gummy bears as the sore throat medicine was too Eww. We were chewing happily when we received an sms from bryan and yu han. " Stop eating!!! it's chem lesson" We felt quite guilty at first. But when we turned around, we saw bryan and yu han eating chips right in front of Mr Loy and smirking at us. -.- It was so obvious that we even heard the crunch from your chips. -.-

haha Mr Yeow very funny today. He said kill one stone with two birds when it is supposed to be kill two birds with one stone. Everyone in the Audi were tickled to tears while he still doesn't know what was going on. He even repeated his sentence and asked is there anything funny. LOL epic! Mr Yeow for Mr Humourous Award :)

decorated the notice boards in the library today. It's looks much better haha. So proud of our work. Go check it out. My newsletter is coming out soon :) Whee! First draft completed.

actually yesterday i felt a little little bit feverish.

at night, i had a slight sore throat.

This morning, i woke up with a fever, runny nose, sore throat and cough.

So i decided to sleep in and not go to school.

Went to see a doctor in the afternoon and got a 2days' MC from the doc.

Should i go to school tmr?

I think i feel much better after taking my medicine. Maybe i will go. Just maybe. :)

I don't want to miss to much from school. :(

the remedial lesson for CLL is quite nice. only 4 students so we have to voice out our views all the time. Quite weird la. Cause usually i don't really answer qns in class cuz i am afraid that my answers would seem stupid and my chinese quite bad. ><

today me and char kept answering in class. we owned the other two guys haha. We had so much fun answering that when renlaoshi asked the boy, we even answered for him. Oops. Too enthu. The worksheet is very fun to do. Actually if it's not essays, i would gladly do anything. No essays please. Please.

Char and I followed Mr Lo to the staff room to collect block test qn paper for GP. He wanted to check my level/class position of me but i violently objected. Ignorance is bliss. He told us not to bully Mr Loy as he is a kind and honest man. Yup i think Mr Loy is super duper nice. Maybe too nice sometimes but still the Best CT ever! Patient, gentle and fatherly. :D

i must go do my chem tutorials now.

you know what happened today during PE lesson?

Charmaine was standing in front of me.

Then some guys from my class were practising shooting of netballs into the net when Charmaine commented: Haiz, i hope the balls don't hit me.

Then she shifted away. Leaving me exposed to the dangers of netballs.

Just as she shifted away, the ball IMMEDIATELY hit my head. BOOM!

If she didn't move away, the ball would have hit her. So effectively, it is right to say that i saved her from that blow.

Mengfei, ah ma and char was dumbfounded. They were like: ....strike 4D also not so accurate...

If i know who shot that ball....you will never get to see tomorrow. So you better pray hard hor.

I couldn't think properly during bio prac cause i think my brain smashed into gray jelly from the impact. ><

A lot of people got injured during PE today ><

ah ma sprained her leg.

Mengfei got knocked down by shenyi.

And many more..etc etc.

went to MPS ( Meet-the people session) at west coast CC today.

the venue was supposed to be at blk 729.

I went to the cc at blk 731. Got confused by the 2 CCs. Haiz just two blocks away lor.

I think i must have looked like a mad woman. Cause i was frantically knocking and banging the door to get in. Turned out i mixed up both CCs. Hmm i hope the residents don't think i am crazy.

Then i called for help. The MPS was supposed to start at 7.45pm. I reached there at 8pm. I was already 15mins late and i was lost. The blocks at clementi are very confusing. Even though 729 is suppposedly 2 blocks away, i didn't seem to see it anywhere within the vicinity:( I asked a total of three people. Erm apparently, some of the residents don't seem to know their way around as well. Hmm.

I ran and ran with all my might. i don't know what happened, but when i reached there, my leg muscles suddenly shifted up. It has happened before at Daiso, Plaza Sing, when i was tip-toeing to reach the top shelf and my leg muscle shifted. Damn painful. I almost teared. I couldn't sit or stand or bend or move. I remember i froze in that position in daiso for a long time and people were staring at me. Yesterday, outside the CC, the whole thing replayed again. This time, some residents stared weirdly at me. I held to Yunyi as my support. It's so horrible. I massaged my leg muscles to make it go down. It's a very strange phenomenon. As in, i have never heard of people with shifted leg muscles. The whole thing really shifted and went up.

My leg still felt sore and painful. So i limped and hobbled in to my workstation. The people in the CC asked if i am alright. Oh dear, i must have been such a sight.

Got attached to a really friendly writer. Haha his wife is from hwa chong and a PSC scholar. He is supposedly an oil trader and former architect. He told me how he got involved in the meet the people session through the students' union and he is now part of the CC commitee. Damn cool. I really want to work as a youth grassroots leader haha:) As in it's really satisfying helping the needy in the community and relieve their financial burdens. Many of the people who come for MPS usually have money or family problems. They need the MP to help them. There was such a case whereby an elderly lady was seeking help from the MP to get her flat back from her unfillial son who threw her out. I really feel sorry for her. :(

And there are some people who come to the MPS over trivial matters like neighbours who turn the radio or sing the karaoke too loudly or put their plants "accidentally" in other people's territory etc.

It's really quite interesting...:D

I went straight to my bed after reaching home at 11.30pm. Didn't touch any homework:( I hope my teachers don't slaughter me :X

Whee hee! went to OCS yesterday:D

OCS is ultimate LOVE.

Not that we want to enrol though. I dunno why but i feel they want more girls to enrol? All the trainers and officers i talked to asked me and char if we wanted to enrol. Not even if there are cute guys. I rather take H3 CLL than go and train in OCS LOL.

at first, quite a lot of girls wanted to pon.

I am glad i didn't. :)

Otherwise, i would have miss out on so much stuff. Hor charmaine?

i am so glad i volunteered for it:)

But to tell the truth, the rifle was super heavy. I collapsed after i received it from the OCS officer. He made it look so light. Me, cherntze, charmaine and yanjie was part of the assault team. We had to run through 4 stations and shoot down the enemies. The army bags were the make-shift stations. I was too tired to carry the gun so I collapsed on top of the bag and rested my gun there. To my horror, the bag collapsed too under the weight. I scrambled to assemble the make-shift station again haha. As i ran, i felt myself swaying, running side-ways in the wrong direction and being pulled down by the weight of the gun. Haha at first i was shooting the wrong direction. I shot at my own comrades. Oops. To think i happily shot many of my blanks at them. The helmet and the jackets were super heavy and smelly from the sweat of many users. Eww. Then the sensor on my jacket kept beeping. Then the officer took me to the front and said to his friend : " Can you shoot this girl here (pointing at my sensor which is near my heart)" I was like, shocked. He reassured me that everything will be fine. Woah luckily nothing happened to me. Otherwise you wouldn't see me in school XD

The girls also played the "sticker" game with our charlie 2 tag. We ganged up on pris and bixuan. Yiling dared us to paste it on the OCS officer's boots. Haha we didn't dare cuz they might shoot us with their rifle or machine guns.

We also got goodie bags with ear plugs to protect ourselves from yc's constant singing.

i got back chem and half of my GP and half my GSC and math.

chem was gg. i think i need to study more. But considering i only studied 3 topics, i am pretty satified with my marks :) shall work harder for promos. Maybe i should go pester Mr Loy for consultation. Erm anybody want to go with me?

Gp ah...it was average la. I still got the same marks as before leh. As in my marks didn't improve or decline much. How can i break out of this? I wanna get an A or a B :D

GSC also not very good:( compo got C. The teacher always like to use my work as a negative example. She say my work very confusing and messy. She tried to cover my name by folding it but the class still saw my name. So obvious lor. Then some people turn around and look at me. Zijing laughed at me. okay not that kind of sarcastic laughter. just for fun :) So awkward. Okay i know my chinese not very good la. Will buck up. :D

next week i will be getting back my CLL and Bio on the same day:(

I don't expect much from these two subjects.

Bio, only study two topics. CLL, only study tang poems.

So far i think my best subject is still math:) Mr Yeow rocks! i even created a song for Mr Yeow haha. Okay not really a song but a rap. But i won't sing it :P Ask charmaine la.

i think i very dui bu qi Mr loy. As well as Mr Poh. And all my 4 chinese teachers. I will work harder!

I don't want the school to send the letter to my house!! I shall wait by the letterbox downstairs and pre-empt my parents before they open it. Muahaha!

But i guess the truth will be out sooner or later. Might as well face the music.

Hwa chong got 3 confirmed cases of H1N1 le. 2 classes got quarantined, A15 and 7J i think.
My friend and fellow exco librarian chengyan got H1N1. Hope she gets well soon.

Che chi got quarantined ( 4 days of leave) because they walked to school together. She didn't know that chengyan got H1N1. I saw her in the library today while doing duty and had a comm meeting and mentioned it to her. She was like " really? i even walked beside her and talked to her when she had a fever. Chengyan just told me she was feeling very cold."

Will i get quarantined too? I think sooner or later the whole school will be quarantined.

Had a talk today on the hwa chong diploma.

The criteria were generally okay, except the 87.5. Looks pretty impossible man. But i really want a hwa chong diploma:)

Cherntze was reading her script at the bench. Really impressed by the award winners. How can they be so smart and capable? Are they humans? Their list of achievements was like WOW!

I was in the library exco room when i wandered about and exploring all the drawers and shelves when i saw a stack of GSC past year test papers from other JCs. I saw the exact same question on the JJC 2007 paper for the block test. 如何齐心建立一个富有包容性的新加坡？OMG! OMG! So interesting. There are many treasures in the library heheh.

today, we went to the staff room to find renlaoshi to take leave from the saturday's event due to special reasons.

My piano exam is like coming real soon and i already skipped so many practices.

First, on 4th july, i had public speaking.

next, on 11th July, i had some chinese university talks.

i can't possibly pon anymore. My teacher bu shuang le.

Haha to our surprise, the teacher in the staffroom told us that renlaoshi has taken leave as his wife had just given birth.

All: silence. disbelief. Ah herm.

Then all the teachers in the chinese staff room kaypoh-ed. There was a hype over whether renlaoshi's wife had given birth.

Oh so that's why renlaoshi had taken leave and changed our lesson to monday. To think we thought he wanted to pon and slack haha.

Erm, i thought renlaoshi's son is ren qi. They look alike leh. And got the same surname somemore.

Congrats renlaoshi haha. I just send an sms to him to congratulate him. He replied 谢谢。祝你考试顺利。

I wanna see the baby! :D

I love babies haha. i always pop by next door to carry my neighbour's baby. So adorable and kawaii ne. Chubby. Fatty baby. So chubby with big eyes. Even my mother and father loves the baby. I can't stop gushing over how cute he is. Only 6 months old. I love to observe how the baby feeds on porridge. His spoon is so tiny. Haha i always ask my mother whether i can borrow the baby for one night so i can take care of him and sleep with him. cute cute wor.

Ah ma was in a state of shock when we celebrated her birthday for her. I think she knew that we were going to celebrate her birthday for her but she just didn't knew when haha. She was like asking where we were going after PE. We were going to check on the cake but we lied to her that we were going to the bookshop to photocopy stuff. It was an innocent white lie :P And in the morning, char told her that she will be late but char came early to hide the cake and write cards for ah ma. Also an innocent white lie. Forgive us k?

we were trying to fix the candles at the fishtank fridge when the uncle saw us behaving " suspiciously" using the lighter. He thought we were up to no good LOL. Haha meng fei so funny.
Me: Ouch, woah the lighter so hot. I think i burnt my finger on the metal part.
Meng fei: Really meh, come give me.
( places her finger on the metal part that is burning hot)

Meng fei: Ouch! it's really hot.


The cake is so pretty:D but i am not a big fan of white choco. Too sweet. I like dark choco more. ( hint hint)

Ah ma came to my hse for PW project today:D

Spent quite a long time tidying it up. Ah ma commented that my room was neat haha.

Racked our heads for the content page. Not as easy as it seemed. Hmm.

After PW, i went to cityhall. Was stopped by students from RI to do PW survey. Turned out that the PW group was my sec friend's. What a coincidence.

Had Sakae sushi dinner cum lunch at citylink today<3<3<3

Jc life is just so different from sec sch. The culture, the people, the environment. Sometimes i can be just so overwhelmed by the change.

i have learnt my lesson since the last buffet at yukiyaki. Never eat anything before a buffet. haha

I starved myself today since morning just to prepare myself for the buffet wahaha.

It paid off.

i think I ate about 10+ plates of sushi by myself. Plus dessert. I ate the most haha:) And i have pics to prove it LOL. I love sashimi:D:D:D

What an accomplishment.

We ate about 45 plates for 5 people all in all.

We were having so much fun with the electronic ordering system.

Played lame games and took lots of stupid pics haha.

Zihui the carnivore was forced to take peas under peer pressure wahaha. She looked as though we were feeding her poison.

However, I have to say that the service at Sakae sushi is quite not up to standard.
We had to wait about 1hr for our order even though there were not that many customers since it wasn't lunch or dinner rush.

Anyway i don't think i will be eating any sushi for a long time haha. Quite sick le. That's how it is with buffets i guess.

AHHH how how how?!? i haven't started any homework yet!!!
I should stop going out and play so much.

Had public speaking workshop today.

So amused by cherntze, yiling and mengfei. I was walking leisurely to the class bench when the three of them started getting very HIGH. It turned out that they 三缺一 for bridge and were waiting for another player. Haha i was just in time. Char was walking towards the class bench and when she saw that we were playing bridge, she started running very swiftly like a cheetah. Haha a true blue bridge addict.

I would say it's rather useful bah. I learnt what to and what not to do during presentations.

But i liked the magic tricks by Hugen most:D I was so impressed haha.

So interesting and fascinating . I wanna learn magic. Woo hoo!

I think my one big weakness is the use of pause fillers. Oops. Char told me i used 17 erms and ahs for my presentation. That many?!? I don't even know i used that many haha. I don't know leh, it just seemed so natural.

After public speaking workshop, we walked to coro plaza for bubbletea. Oreo and choco is LOVE.:)

Then we went to swirl for a game of bridge. We were suffering from withdrawal syndromes le.

We were both rather saddened by the news of the postphonement sabbats. Disappointment with certain individuals. Overwhelmed by blocks. But luckily there was a channel for us to vent our frustrations. We sang for 4.5 hours NON-STOP. Since there was only the two of us and there was two mics, we kept singing and singing until we felt faint haha. Yes, we sang that hard.

Our voice were hoarse at the end of the session. Really hoarse.

Haha i think we both very AUNTIE leh.

We booked the package for 22.50 per person each where we can sing from 4-9 pm. The package included two free drinks each and FREE FLOW of snacks. We barely touched the snacks when we were singing for fear that we would harm our throats. So it was only towards the end, about 5 min before the end of the K-box session that we started munching on the snacks.

Then a very auntie thought struck us. Char asked me whether i had a plastic bag. I gave her a puzzled look. She looked meaningfully at the bowl of snacks. There was a kind of silence understanding between the both of us. We began frantically rummaging our bags for plastic bags, containers etc. I found two tiny boxes. We waited til the coast was clear before carrying out our plan. We called for room service for the waiters to refill our snacks about two more times. I think they must be wondering how pro we are in finishing three bowls of snacks within less than five mins.

WAHAHA. OMG SO AUNTIE leh. Then we burst out laughing non-stop.

Char suggested we should bring like two big tins, the kind use to store love letters to 打包next time haha. Sure sure LOL.

Can't help it lah. Last min studying is really not feasible. Maybe i should start studing for promos now haha.

For bio test today, i studied only cell division and part of DNA replication. 1.5 topics. Haha. It's a miracle if i passed. I totally died at the essay questions today. Most from organisation of eukaryotic genome. I should have studied that topic! ARGH >< 20 marks confirmed gone le. What am i supposed to do?!?

I am so disappointed with myself.

Before the june hols came, i told myself that i would study really hard during the june hols for the blocks to pull up my grades. But when june hols came, i thought: aiyah, four weeks of june hols, can relax for a little bit. I kept procrastinating. Once i started slacking, i realised that it was impossible to pick up the pace of studying again:( And there was no mood for me to study.

Even though i knew exams were drawing near, i refused to pick up my books and study. On the day before chem and GSC test, i was laughing my heart out at comedy and variety shows on channel 8. I even watched the 7pm and 9pm show on channel 8. I thought: What's the use of studying when i can't remember anything? Might as well do something "useful" by watching TV, rather than stare blankly at my notes. I went off to practice my piano for 2 hours after watching TV. See, i really don't know how to manage my time. I am such a failure.

Oh well. What's done has been done. Now i can only pray that I won't fail THAT badly.

After the blocks, we went to MACs at serene centre. We ended chatting there for 3 hours even after we finished our food. Ghost stories, funny stuff, incidents in primary schs etc.

Very fun and stress-relieving.:) It's always good to have a bunch of bosom friends who are willing to share a listening ear and troubles. Such friends are really hard to come by and i will really cherish them:D
