today is mengfei's birthday! Happy birthday bear bear:D

Hope you love the big pink bear we gave you. Went to three places before we found the perfect bear size :))

toa payoh, bishan and ang mo kio. We even wanted to go to plaza sing haha. The bear's 34 inches which is like the biggest bear we found in that shop.

The mini toons saleperson was so aggressive. There were like three of them attacking the both of us. They were so enthusiastic that they recommended every possible gift for a girl and persuaded to become members by spending $50 dollars and above. But we exceeded our budget and so had to source elsewhere. We sneaked off before they could say another word. Phew!

We finally finished our WR :D love our WR! A lot of people rushed to the library to print their last min WR. Our appendix is even thicker than the WR itself -.-
After the finishing touches, we proceeded on to play plants VS zombies:))
The guys played DOTA. It was kinda shocking to see how aggressive they are when they play DOTA, shouting every possible vulgarities. You get to see their true colours when they unleash the beasts in them haha.

My I&R is a goner! I haven't even done the second draft and Mrs Tan is not looking at it anymore! D:

My Sister's Keeper is a must-watch tear jerker!



Gosh I dunno how many times I cried throughout the movie. It set me thinking about death and how powerful love is. You can't really blame the mother for doing all she can to protect her beloved child. And the strong bond between the two sisters. My eyes were all swollen and red when I came out of the cinema. Even the guys who sat behind us cried lol, can you imagine? I cried so hard that i couldn't breathe and all my mucus were like stuck and i really couldn't breathe yet I can't stop crying yet I can snort or clear my mucus cos it will like disrupt the atmosphere. Okay gross lah. I heard people snorting though haha. And sniffing. I cry at every single scene even though it's not too sad. So emotional right? I think the promos results were like getting into me as well. Basically I cried my heart out. And lungs cos i really couldn't BREATHE! Well if there was no one else in the cinema I would have cried out loud. Huiyi was like eating popcorn and crying at the same time. And making funny noises.

Huiyi! You are so gross! You know what she did? She threw the popcorn seed back into the popcorn box when she has already eaten the popcorn. Luckily I didn't eat her popcorn seed. Okay I do that when I am not sharing popcorn with anyone.

During the show, everyone was sobbing and it was quite solemn. BUT after the show, everyone in the cinema began bursting out laughing at each other who cried so hard during the show and making fun of each other which was just so FUNNY. There was like such a huge contrast in the atmosphere. The girls were like teasing the guys for crying haha. From all the laughing, people could have mistook us as movie-goers who have just watched a comedy. I couldn't stop laughing after I came out of the cinema recalling what had happen during the show when I tried my best not to snort noisily. I felt like I had a drastic mood swing or something. Crying and sobbing like it was the end of the whole and laughing like I had just won the lottery or something. Both of us were laughing like nobody's business. Keesiaos! Then we wanted to go to the toilet to check if our eyes were red/puffy from all the crying. Haha we saw like everyone crowding at the mirror and doing touch-ups on their make-ups.

Next time you feel sad, go watch a sad movie and you will feel happy. Cos you will laugh at yourself for crying.

today renlaoshi showed us films by yasmin ahmad today which was totally inspiring and touching. Everyone should go and search for it on youtube and watch it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I was like so awed by her works. It's a pity that she passed away prematurely. A talented film maker.

walked over to high school for OCIP Fujian meeting.

The high school library is so much nicer than college's one! Gosh. Lovely! They have projectors and huge LCD TVs.

Kinda excited for the fujian trip. Heard from linlaoshi that the highest temp up in the mountains is 16 degrees celcius and the lowest is -3!!!! Hope I can see snow? but quite unlikely i think. Must stock up on winter clothings! Look forward to tons of shopping yay! :D OMG and cute kids.

Today mengfei, xin ying and shen yi went for the SPH attachment programme interview. From what i heard before, it seems quite difficult to get in? you must translate from english to chinese, write an article/zuowen without dictionary and spot sentence structure errors. But the thing is, you get $5 per hour which is like so cool! That works out to about 500-1000 dollars at the end of the whole attachment? WOW. Mengfei ask me how to translate cacophony to chinese, i was like "Erm. Hmm. Gosh." Then i went into the CSC class and ask the very zai Jizhou. He says he doesn't know the word and this is the first time he has heard of such a word haha. Then he checked his phone and it means 杂音. Oooohh. The CSC teacher and some students thought they walked into the wrong classrm when they saw me and char. Then they went out to look at the rm no. and realised that they were correct after all. LOL.

After the fujian trip briefing, me and mj went to AMK hub to have dinner. Window-shopped AMK hub which was kinda fun. We saw a lot of cute stuff that we were itching to buy but mj told me that we can buy all these at a cheaper price in China. So I am restraining myself til the fujian trip and unlease the shopaholic in me when I hit the shopping malls there! Hope we get to shop a lot there! Ate Anderson ice-cream which hit the spot for me after a sumptuous Jap dinner. i love Anderson's cone which is super crispy and not too sweet. Nice!

Zombies and plants is a fun and addictive game haha. But it can be quite lame.

okay at least i passed math and chem!

but my math grades declined by seven marks. D: gosh

chem i hope it stays at this rate, then maybe i can scrape a B or something:)

My GP improved. Happy already:) Mr Lo tried to comfort me by saying that the marker was quite strict and the question I attempted was hard. But i like question 7:)

I think I should be able to get promoted bah...provided Bio is not too screwed up.

today me, xin ying, meng fei, li lin and meng jiao very guai, went to attend the talk meant for CSC students. Ended up sleeping at the back of LT3 cos I really didn't understand the talk about china and economy. Played zombies and plant on my laptop. Then the battery went flat in 10 mins:( we wanted to sneak out but we stayed a bit longer as we thought the talk was ending soon. BUT. During the Q&A session, the PRCs especially were so enthusiastic that they bombarded the speaker with so MANY questions. We were like praying at the back" Please, no more questions, no more questions" But there were more and more question. ARGH>< Wanted to pon initially, but due to pressure from ah ma, we decided to be good girls and attend the talk because fanglaoshi said yesterday that it was compulsory for all CLL students. Or so it seems.

When we went in, I was surprised to see such a huge turnout. Hmm. But throughout the talk, I saw a lot of people sleeping. Seriously i tried to listen but I can't help but nod off at regular intervals. DON'T UNDERSTAND. So cheam. After the talk, we pretended to walk past FLS to "take attendence". Don't think he saw us leh :(

must practice OP! And smile. xin ying says my voice was trembling when I spoke. nervous la. Somemore never prepare and last min take xin ying's script. Actually I didn't really know what I was presenting. Like I am just rattling on and off randomly.

Fanglaoshi's comments was like 你可以考虑当台湾偶像剧编剧。Yup i think it's really cliche and mushy. The title was 《美丽的起点》I did okay for my essay though heheh:) It helped me to pull all the other sections up. Phew!

Although I didn't do fantastically well, but at least I did better than the blocks which is something worth celebrating. Yay! I am satisfied already:) For CLL, I jumped 4 grades which in my opinion is a tremendous feat haha. Shall work harder and get even better results!

We also got the bio marking scheme. Didn't dare to read it. The answers seem quite diff from mine. Erms. Hmm.

had a big clean up today:)

found a lot of things that I never once knew I had. Quite fun. But I realised lots of things that i used to treasure and love cannot be used now:(

Like the collection of cute packet tissues I used to buy. I opened it up and found that the tissue had turned yellow. My mum says if you use it to wipe your mouth you willl get poisoned haha.

Powerpuff girl and hello kitty pens that I used to buy with my pocket money when I was a little girl in primary sch. I remember how i used to save up in my piggy bank and skipped happily to the sch bookshop to buy my beloved pen:) The pens are so pretty that I always couldn't bear to use it, so i kept it nicely in the wrapper. Tested it out yesterday and realised that the ink has long dried up. Had no choice but to throw it away. Haiz.

The My Melody bag and pencil case that I used to treasure a lot now seems pretty childish to me. i decided to pack it up and give it to my young cousins. I realised that I have outgrown a lot of things. I seriously think that my Hello Kitty collection is so huge that I can set up a Pasar malam store to paddle my ware. There's like an alarm clock, nail cutter, shoe polisher, lunch box, watch, colour pencils, rings, earings, bandages, wallets, OMG so much things that are so interesting. Maybe I should have a room to display all these stuff next time or even pass it on to my daughter haha.

I found a lot of old photographs of me, my parents and my bro who was still a baby then. Then I sat down in a corner and began filpping through all the photo albums that my mum painstakingly arranged.

然后又翻到了妈妈第一次带我到动物园去，那时的我是多么的调皮。还记得淘气的我从纪念品店牵着两颗气球跑出店外，害得爸妈不知怎么是好，而我又不肯把气球放下，爸妈无奈只好买下那两颗气球。哈！

翻啊翻啊，翻到了爸妈带我到中国花园提灯笼的照片。爸妈非常疼我，我要什么款式的灯笼，他们都会卖给我。

发现我小时候去过很多地方，动物园，飞禽公园，圣陶沙，虎豹别墅等等。父母一直很想给我一个快乐的童年。到玩具店的时候，我总是抱着心爱的玩具，死死不放，又哭又闹，爸妈看我哭得那么可怜，总是心软，再贵的玩具也都会卖给我。我真的被他们宠坏啦！

翻开生日照片，从一岁到十七岁，我发现蛋糕礼物依在，孩子一年一年地长大，爸妈却一年一年的老去了。妈还笑着说：“孩子！我看和你过生日的日子不多咯！以后有了男友，就不回来庆祝生日了。”

我的童年是阳光灿烂的, 一片温暖, 充满欢乐. 在妈妈的疼爱和爸爸的呵护下, 我就像是个无忧无虑的小公主. 那时候世界对我来说是完美的. 我不知道什么是伤心, 不知道什么是眼泪, 只知道就算天塌下来, 爸妈一定会保护我. 我那时是多么的坚信自己是世界上最幸福的小女孩。

有时我想，是不是我把爸妈给气老了呢？我承认，偶尔会和爸妈顶嘴，害他们伤心、心痛。爸妈总是想尽办法，用他们的一切让我开心，辛辛苦苦把我带大，自幼抱着我，而我却一次又一次的让他们难过。可我真的不是故意的。只是，只是。。。

今天翻开相片簿，我发现爸妈真的老了，憔悴了许多。我也长大了，不能再任性了。总有一天，我必须一人展开翅膀飞向未知的未来，离开爸妈的怀抱。爸妈时常说，他们不能永远在我们身旁守护着我们，有一天也会离开世界的，我很难想象没有爸妈的日子会是怎么样，我想我会崩溃，但愿这一天永远不要到来， 永远永远不要到来。

我祈祷上帝保佑我父母，让他们身体健康，天天快乐。

Lots of caramel corn, japanese instant noodle and goodies at Daiso,

Candies and chocolates at Candy Empire,

dinner at the posh imperial herbal restaurant.

We dipped our feets into the cool water at the sky garden:)

it was a pleasant surprise from a typical boring day in sch.

quite a slack day in sch today, only had sexuality ed talk, PW. Never felt so relaxed in my days in HC. It was the first time I could sit down so calmly and chat freely without the feeling that I had forgotten to do my tutorial or sth.

Post-sabbats withdrawal syndrome :( The vocal singing workshop was fun:D Even though I am not a superb singer, I still like singing:) Kinda scary singing in front of an audience and get commented by judges. Met lots of nice people that were really fun to be with. <3 will really miss all of them. Not fair....why we only have one sabbats?!?! I heard from the J2s that they had two 2-day sabbats last year. D:

After sch went to bishan with MJ and bought paint for our CCA banner cos the council room no more white paint. Then we went to the lib to read books:)) I fell asleep halfway and the librarian had to wake me up haha so paiseh.

Had a strange encounter at Popular Bishan today. I was looking for white paint when suddenly a young man came up to me and asked me if I had a pen to sell to him cos he was rushed for time and couldn't queue up to buy a pen from popular. I was naturally stunned and didn't know how to react. I was like "huh? really? what?" I reached for my pencil case and tried to search for a nice pen and gave him the pilot one. My fav and best pen. He was like " just give me any pen it's ok" I could tell he was really desperate. He offered me $9 can you believe it? I politely declined and said it's ok just take the pen. Then he looked quite apologetic and shoved two dollars to me and thanked me profusely. I wanted to give him back the money cos my pen isn't worth that much cos I used up quite a lot of the ink during promos but he ran away quickly.

Oh wells since my promos no hope liao, I might as well help my bro achieve results that will please my mum and dad, at least they won't get too angry with me when they see the results slip:)

The storyline not bad lah..my first swordsmen novel. At least it gave me the motivation to read other similar novels.

I love the slow pace of life after promos....so relaxing. I haven't sat down and read a book without interruption in ages. Yay! Can watch TV and listen to Lady Gaga haha:) Her songs quite nice.

Okay my mum's nagging me to clean up my room which looks like a rubbish dump now. And she's asking me to mope the floor, wipe the TV, water the plants and wash my shoes. Haiz.

Promos is FINALLY OVER!!!! ( literally)

Lesson learnt: you should really read instructions before attempting any paper or you will end up like me, doing two questions for bio in section B when you are only supposed to do one -.-

I really want to pass all my H2 and keep every single one of them! Now I know why they say promos is the ultimate killer.

For the past few days i have been studying at amk library cos i really can't study at home and i dunno why. Studying at libraries can sometimes be productive and sometimes turn out to be a flunk. I get distracted by noises easily. Ppl who talk so incessantly as if they own the whole library, laughing like nobody's business.

Bishan library, amk library, marine parade library, bedok library and national library. Haha library hopping is ultimate love:) i have been to the library so often that some people recognise me. I also noticed the same few people everytime I go there to mug. I like bishan lib the best but it's so freaking far for me.

Yesterday went to amk hub with MJ to have pepper lunch <3 when i am supposed to be mugging for bio and dinner at cafe galilee. Then felt extremely bloated and tired so i took a nap and walked around the library to ease digestion of food. Saw Yiling haha.

Consecutive days of mugging for promos is harmful to your health. I feel like I do nothing but sleep, eat and study and a vicious cycle continues. I want to exercise tmr. Feel so fat now. Jogging!

Post promos is fantastic but I can't help feeling that I screwed my papers up. It's as if whatever I do is wrong. Can't get rid of this sinking feeling in my heart.
