Anyway on saturday I had my Stage 2 basic korean lessons. Lessons are getting much harder now. I am learning korean expressions in past tense and present tense. But I am motivated to learn korean well!! Wanna go korea one day, hopefully can meet SHINee lol! And converse with them. Haha fat hopes~~~

My piano teacher says I have improved in my playing! Yay i feel so happy cos I have been stagnant for the past few months esp recently resuming lessons after A levels. Hope can take my grade 8 practical as well as theory soon. (:

AND SUNDAY WAS MY LAST LESSON AT CELINE JESSANDRA :(
Okay those who know me well know that I am not the type that would go and learn dancing. But after spending three months at the dance school. I have grown to like dance, haha maybe because it provides and avenue for me to exercise xD BUT IT REALLY FEELS GOOD!
Waiting for SHINEE combo and the next available lucifer class!

Thanks to my friend whose sis-in-law works at moe, I got another relief teaching job at yishun junior college.

But this time, I will be teaching Biology!

I was assigned two H2 classes and one H1 class, will be taking them for tutorials and practicals.

I am kinda excited but nervous at the same time because I am not sure whether i will be up to it. My bio wasn't even satisfactory in HC..barely scraping a pass in the block tests. Hmm just hope that i won't mislead the students and teach them wrong stuff oops.

So right now, I have lots to revision to do!

I got lost on the way to yjc...it's frustrating. I went onto bus 169 and was supposed to alight at the 4th stop, I counted wrongly and ended up at some SAF air base super ulu! Then I crossed the road and waited for 169 again. Nevermind that the bus comes such infrequent timings, the best thing was just as it came, the bus driver drove so quickly that when i looked up it was gone in a flash, didn't even have the time to flag it D: wasted one hour zzz. And so from my house in bedok, I took about 2 hours to reach the school. When I reached the school, I had a new problem. I didn't know how to enter the school! I couldn't find the sch gate omg. Walked one entire round.

When I finally finally reached the school after so much trials and tribulations I was so so so relieved! I hope it doesn't happen again on tuesday when I start work!

Whee I get my own desk and laptop in yjc to do my work! And I don't have to report early for assembly (: Can come as and when there's lesson and go off once I am done :D

After the interview, I went down to nex mall to meet mj and linli! OMG I haven't seen mj since december last year! Miss her so much!!!

Dined at Laksamia, then went to the rooftop library and borrowed comics.Then we went to the pet shop to look at dogs (: They're so adorable! But i don't think I will be able to look after one, it's a huge responsibility! Since mj was complaining that she haven't exercised for a long time, we went to the arcade for a workout, playing the basketball shooting game. I played until my arms ached! Shows how unfit I am. I was dumbstrucked when I saw the pair next to us playing the game so effortlessly and their score is like four times of ours! So embarassing lah. Haha we were panting and heaving all the way and our balls flew out of the station so many times!

We need to practice man! Who's game for basketball? The more the merrier!

Finally, we end the day off with dessert! mango tango :D

After struggling for so long and seeking much of my friends' opinions, I have decided on a polaroid camera! :D

Which was my first choice to began with. Haha.

Well blame it on myself for doing such extensive research on photography when all I wanted was to find the best deal on polaroid camera and films. So much research and information actually impairs my judgement. I saw lomo/toy cameras and got a little fickle-minded. So I guess sometimes acting on impulse/gut feelings is good (:

So far I think Gmarket has the best deal :D

Initially I wanted to get the pink instax mini 7 which costs $100, then I SAW THE HELLO KITTY INSTAX MINI 7s. Limited edition!! I had to shell out an additional 55 bucks for it. :P I am an absolute fan of hello kitty haha.

I totally fell in love with it. Love at first sight!!

Was in much dilemma over the choice of colours for awhile, between white and choco. Both are just so pretty. I decided on the choco one in the end. Omg if only I could have both haha. So greedy! xD

In the end, i checked out the online shopping cart with purchases totalling $190, which includes the Hello Kiltty Instax Mini 7s and 3 boxes of hello kitty character instax mini films :DDDDD

I just burnt a large hole in my pocket but I LIKE!

Can't wait for it to be shipped all the way from Korea. Shall wait patiently (:

okay time to revive my dyinggggggg blog.

9 weeks of internship at pei hwa has ended!

Oh wells i guess it's a bitter sweet thing. 9 weeks is neither v long nor short. Just when I have just began to form meaningful relationships w my students and it all ends. I wished I could have a proper ending w my students. It ended so abruptly after camp. I have always wanted to give a farewell speech, sorta. To tell my students how much I enjoyed teaching them. Really, and thanks for listening even though I was boring at times and when lessons were dry. Ah :( one 遗憾 I have in this internship is not being able to teach 3N2, which was one of the classes I was supposed to teach during the internship and as a result, I don't really know the students well. 3N2 although a noisy class, would have been an interesting bunch to teach. (: But at least I did one relief class for 3N2 which was quite a disastrous attempt :X ah i rather not mention it.

For me, I take quite long to warm up to people I guess. At first I didn't know how to "communicate" with my students. Haha as they say there's some 代沟, cos I think I am like 4-6 years older than most of them. Gosh I am old!!
But one thing's for sure, kpop is a great ice-breaker (:
Anyway, i am really glad I got posted to a neighbourhood school :DDDDD

Gosh I miss teaching.

It didn't help that some of the classes I got were really quiet at first. Like awkward silence. I kept answering my own questions in class and it seemed really silly! haha. I have to resort to calling names. Okay i understand the students' mentality lah, given that I was a student not so long ago...whenever the teacher used to ask questions in class I would be like " no no no no please don't call me!! * looks down and away from the teacher" I guess that's how the students felt. But as time passes the students warm up to you and learn to make jokes haha :D

I have learnt alot from the internship. I guess teaching in front of 40 odd students in 2 classes have made me a more confident person. A little more confident heheh cos it's like public speaking. When I first taught, I was reallyyyy nervous omg. But you gradually get used to it and slowly get the hang of it. It's not bad I guess, all 90 plus eyeballs looking up at you. I get so used to it that sometimes I just blabber on in class without thinking and realise that I have been repeating the same points over and over again. Haha. And I totally 开声 from all the shouting during relief classes, especially to the naughty ones. I hate scolding classes and I try my best not to do that. It's bad for my image lol. xD But after those experience, I realised my voice can be quite loud, something which I never knew I was quite capable of haha (: But I like relief classes, cos you never know which class you're gonna get. I like surprises and uncertainties.

The sec 3 overseas camp was a decision I never regret making. Well I guess I could have stayed local w Angie. I felt a little lonely when i went to pahang alone without her :( I really missed her alot and felt quite depressed during the initial stages of camp. But I guess that's all part and parcel of learning and venturing out of your comfort zone. I admit I was afraid of the responsibilities that was bestowed upon me, of being responsible for the safety of the kids. I couldn't very much take care of myself already according to my mum, given the state of how messy my room is. I was a little intimidated of being the only intern amongst the many senior teachers who all knew each other, I worried about not being able to mix with them. But it wasn't too bad :D I love how the teachers who joke w me and include me in their conversations, as well as being concerned for my well-being, like offering to take over me for sentry duty so that I could sleep. This experience also allowed me to take a closer peek at what the teaching career really entails.

3E1 was a really great class (: they totally showed another side of them during camp, they are not quiet! That's for sure (: Stay bonded kay! I really wanna thank some of the girls esp for accompanying me throughout the camp and talking to me so I won't feel so lonely :D you guys are really lovely! And thank you for helping me take my food and drinks during camp and reserving a seat for me beside you guys :D Haha so touched (: All the ice-breaker games and team activities allowed me to build more rapport with the students. If only the camp happened earlier, then I wouldn't have been talking to the walls during lesson time haha. I guess if I had never gone for the camp, i wouldn't have known 3E1 better and it would have just been restricted to lessons, which I admit, by the last lesson, i have only known a few names, very few names. By the end of camp, i memorised each and everyone's names.

My entire 9 weeks of experience cannot be put into mere words and into this single blog post. But all I have to say is that it has been great knowing and meeting all of you. Each and every single one of you who have crossed my path in pei hwa, be it the teacher mentors ms lee, mdm ong and mrs koh, classes whom I've taught, 3E1 and 3E3, students from relief classes and my dear fellow intern Angie! My internship wouldn't have been the same without any of you.

I don't know if I would be able to return to Pei Hwa anytime soon.

So I guess it's farewell for now.

It's funny how I am actually writing to nobody cos I don't think anyone will chance upon this well hidden blog, esp my students haha. But nevertheless I just wanna express some of the feelings I had about this internship.

As one teacher once said, " Teaching is an art, not a science", I guess my experience of 2 months plus can't make me a fantastic teacher overtime. Teaching is a skill that has to be honed. Should I become a teacher one day, I hope to be a teacher that cares and is able to build meaningful relationships with the students. And as one teacher quipped "And you know you have succeeded if the student calls you from across the street one day because you have been a fantastic teacher" (:

Watched under the hawthorn tree by Zhang yimou with xy! (:

it's not a popular mainstream movie, seeing that it's only shown in two cinemas and at weird timings. 225pm at vivo and 920pm at yishun gv.

We decided to go with the 225pm timing!

Rushed to vivo after school. Packed some food and rushed to the cinema. Oh wells we were ten minutes late but I guess the movie just started so it was okay (:

There were so few people in the cinema! So it was kinda awkward opening my plastic bag and taking out my bread.

Anyway, i definitely would recommend people to go and watch this! I think this is one of the rare kind of movies that we would ever see in the market. It's not your usual type of hollywood movie or highly commercialised ones. It's very innocent, sweet and tugged at my heartstring! However, I felt that the male lead was so perfect that I find it kinda unbelievable myself too.

I was so touched I cried three times. Lol. I didn't dare to sniff too loud cos there were so little people in the theater and it was very obvious!

Been so busy nowadays that I hardly post here anymore.

alot alot of thing happened but I can't list them all cos I can't rmb D:

okay just the highlights :D

Me, Char, jolynn and jingyu went to join the Safra PK challenge at Square 2 mall. First time singing in front of so many people at the shoppping mall! Haha quite scary but I guess teaching these few months have helped to relieve stage fright. A little. Ha!

Jolynn uploaded the videos initially, but I decided it was horrendous and made it private to prevent further embarrassment heheh ;D one of the teachers in pei hwa saw and commented to me in sch that I was v brave to sing infront of such a huge crowd. Lol! I got a shock that she actually managed to view the video before I made it private.

Then went to cherntze's hse for sleepover. I didn't exactly slept over at her hse. Heh ;D watched forrest gump for an hr or so and left for korean class! Damn sad, I could only communicate w them through my videocam cos my parents refused to send me to ct's hse. :( next time kay! I wanna play bridge with yall!

Korean class is getting more difficult and confusing :/ hmm but i will persevere! I wanna korean keyboard sticker to type korean words! :D

I realise i go for so many classes, piano, korean and dance! But I enjoy them all so it's okay.

Yup learning korean hip-hop at Celine jessandra on Sundays! 5 lessons soo far. A great avenue to exercise! I think my sense of rhythm and feel is getting better. Lol xD Can't wait for SHINee's lucifer dance! Anw our dance is recorded on youtube under celinejessandradance i think. It's weird to see myself dancing.

haha but i am considering to move on to the next level :D fun!

2 busy and hectic weeks at Pei Hwa Sec.

These two weeks have been an eye-opener for me.

I really learnt alot, from my teaching supervisors and students alike.

Although there was the initial culture shock, I managed to settle in quite well. (:

Sometimes, we need to look beyond the surface and at what's beneath.

Sometimes, it just takes a simple pat on the back, a smile or word of encouragement.

Every student is special in their own ways (: nevermind the differing academic abilities.

I love my express, N(A) and N(T) classes all the same :D

OCIP grp 2 outing today! with qiuhan, linzhuo, mingyu, han song and yang tao

hahaha after many unsucessful attempts at arranging, we finally got one! (:

went to Cathay to eat at astons :D then watched Tron. I didn't know what Tron was about before. It was a better show than I expected haha. The only bad thing about the movie was that the cinema was freezing! Brrrrrrr. I should have brought a jacket :/

Tron is like GP (?) lol. Cos there were like ethics, science, technology and clones....yeah that sort of stuff haha.

After the movie, me and qiuhan left the guys and went shopping!

Looked at alot of clothes and accessories plus the very ex scrapbook making shop at plaza sing. One conclusion we got: must marry a rich guy next time haha.

Bought a white blouse at Hypnosis :D heheh couldn't help it. My mum's nagging at me cos I overspent for clothes. But it's for work, mum! :P

thought I could utilise my old $20 party world ktv voucher and happily went to sing K with huiyi.

turned out that we needed to spent above $40 bucks for the discount.

But I looked at the voucher thoroughly and they said no purchase required! HMPH. So I persistently asked and pestered the counter personnel haha. But in the end I was still rejected.

Oh wells. Party world ktv is more affordable than Kbox (:

each person only $10.40 during happy hour. Can sing for 4 hours, with free tidbits and one free drink (: quite value-for-money. Shall ask the rest to sing with me next time! :D

The room is so much bigger and spacious than teo heng's! haha. And the songs are easier to find! But teo heng has a bigger selection of korean songs! I was disappointed to see that Hello and Replay by SHINee are not available at partyworld :( And Hello was the only korean song i practised lol xD ARGH. Next time. Next time we go to a ktv that has Hello kay!!

And so for four hours, we sang whatever song we knew haha. We even resorted to singing the theme song for the tv show AI hahaha xD too desperate for songs lol.

Because we wanted to sing hello so much, we softly sang it on the mrt and bus on the way home! haha. SHINee ftw :D

Christmas this year had been fun, with relatives from m'sia visiting (:

love shopping with hoong, she's like a year older than me and we clicked off really well together :D

chatted alot about stuff in m'sia and s'pore, really interesting yeah. She's really funny and bubbly.

Bought quite alot clothes during xmas haha. For work as well as leisure. i don't know but it feels like I am spending alot of my "future" money. Oh mans.

Oh probably gonna work with jolynn during weekends at gongcha bubble tea shop!

and I am taking my grade 8 exam after a long hiatus cos of A levels! Haven't practised for a long long time :(

a day of excitement!

After forest adventure in the morning and lunch at Tampines 1, we rushed home to change and met up at Nex mall for Secret Santa xD

Annual Secret santa with huiyi, amanda, meng jiao, zi hui and linli! :D

My santee was Amanda! haha. I didn't know who my santa was though :/ (duh)

my present for my santee was like huge. It took me really long to find a plastic bag big enough to contain the present lol.

Luckily she's a SHINee fan too! makes it easier to prepare a present. ;D

I had fun making the board :) my first attempt lol. My bro commented that it looked like a fan board. All the better haha. Next time amanda can use it for fan meet-and-greet sessions :D

The thing was she liked Key the most so I found 3 pics of him. tada!!! Haiz my fav Onew had to be relegated to the corner and has the smallest pic cos Amanda doesn't like him xD

We were supposed to meet at 6pm but many were late, so me and hui yi shopped for a while.

Had dinner at Siam kitchen. Food was okayy but portions were quite small..

Then it was time to reveal Secret Santa!!

Turned out that Amanda was my Santa as well! Lol what a surprise xD Yay glad she liked the gift I prepared. I got a soft toy bear. Naming it MR ONEW hahahaha

went forest adventure in the morning with zi hui, lin li, meng jiao at bedok reservoir!

2 hours of very strenous activity!

Flying fox, climbing, ladders, bridges, swings, nets, trapezes and giant zip lines.

Went on half the extreme track cos it was just too tiring..

It was pretty much self-service. We had to hook on the harness, pulley on the safety line on our own. So we were responsible for our own safety. I was like" what happens if it came loose" Scaryyyy.

But overall, it was pretty safe if you followed instructions carefully :D and fun!

too bad we weren't allowed to bring cameras up.

My favourite part is the tarzan swing :))))) free-fall from a really tall height and lending on a vertical net. Even though zip line was fun i didn't like it very much because i kept landing awkwardly in the sand pit and hit my head several times after I landed. BUT. The scenery you get while flying across bedok reservoir is breathtaking! :D 4 zip lines in all. Enough to make up for the lack of it during OAC in sec 3 lol.

Back from an 8 days' trip to Guilin.

A nice contrast from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Lots of unpacking and washing to do...

Didn't expect the temperature to drop below 0 degrees :D Ha! Saw ice and snow :) Pretty

Marvelled at the creations of God, the beautiful mountains and rivers. As I looked down from the mountain top I gasped at how awesome God is.

During the trip, I dreamt that God spoke to me two times. exactly two times He told me about "the gift of love". I wept in my dreams. I woke up with my eyes still wet from crying. I realised that I have strayed away from Him for too long.

One thing about guided tours is that you get trapped in a cycle of sleeping, eating, sleeping in the bus, take a few pictures, go to the washrm, back to sleeping, which probably almost guarantees you getting fat :/

Yes yes china has lots of good food :D

It was a pity I didn't get to shop much :( not as much as I would liked. TOO LITTLE SHOPPING TIME.

The first few days was kinda dampened by the rain yah. It was raining so much that not much pics could be taken with all the fog and what not. Then there was the visting of the minority tribes living in the mountains. Pretty much repetitive. Anw Guilin pretty much reminded me of the times I spent in Fujian last yr for OCIP. Like all the villages, plus Hu Lu Si, fields, weather, and the cute kids :D

One thing that wrenched my heart was the beggers wandering around the tour buses. I don't know if it was for real, but they looked pitiful. I realised how great the gap was between the rich and the poor in China. The salary for the average working class was about 800-2000 RMB per month, which works out to about 160-400 sing dollars or so.

The tour I was in had 30 ppl. Met a few teachers and chatted with them. Ha! Trying to find out more about the teaching profession and what to expect as a teacher intern :) Oh there was a student from hwa chong too, lol what a coincidence.

I thought the weather at fujian last yr was cold enough. Wah guilin's even more chilly than fujian! Didn't bring enough winter wear, had to buy sianz.

I think i need to start exercising. I am getting super unfit! My legs were aching after climbing a few mountains :(

OH YES ONE OF THE HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRIP WERE THE MASSAGES HAHAHAHAH. Super shiok :)))))))))))))))))))))))

My favourite part is Merryland resort :D The only theme park that i don't have to queue lol. And the rides are even more fun and thrilling than disneyland and gentings LOL. One plus point is the scenery :) When we went on the roller coaster, there were only 3 of us -.- wanted to try bungee jump but mummy didn't allow.

And I am super broke. With Prom. With Post A level activities. With shopping for work clothes. With hanging out with friends. With overseas holidays.

But thankfully, I got the MOE internship :D Yay!! Will be teaching sec sch. Hope they will be well-behaved teens :) Teachers are allowed to blog and have facebook right? LOL.

Auntie's club went to eat at Old beijing. Overloaded with Xiaolongbaos omg. 30 xiaolong baos!!!!! Cute angmohs ice-skating at novena haha. And free candy-floss :))))

Checked out prom dresses with my sec sch friends. Wow can't believe they have more endurance than me. I barely shopped for 2 hours and my feet were aching already. They shopped from 10.30 am and were still pretty upbeat haha. Must learn from them!

Finally got to eat some salmon sushi after my cravings :))))))))))))))

I feel like a pig these days. Sleep until 11am, watch TV, eat, play, eat, watch TV, sleep. My mum just stocked up four boxes of ice-cream. It didn't help that she makes fried chicken wings almost everyday. And with my bro hooked on macs, and me stealing fries from him. Not to mention my mum buying Koi near her workplace. Oh gosh if this goes on, I don't think I can ever find a dress that fits me.

Lucky lucky Ann's dad sent us to school! Reached on time at 4pm.

Sat through briefing and it was time for dinner! After dinner went to look for mum and dad then my cute mum asked me to camwhore with her LOL. Eh hahah she damn cute. :)

Then went back to the audi and sat for 3 hours plus I think. It was quite interesting watching the class montage! Some were really hilarious. Even my dad commented that 09A10's montage was super funny!

Then when we got bored, we played around with some people's phone cameras haha :D the effect's really cool esp the mirror image one!

OH OH I think Bi xuan's brother is really adorable :) Can i pack him home? haha. When his bumble bee sticker got stuck onto the bear, he got a little frantic looking for it and I pointed out to him that it was on the fur of the Hwa Chong bear. He immediately plucked it out, together with some extra fur from the bear. Then he said " ouch". Ahhhh damn cute!!! Then we played bear fighting which got a little too loud at times :P Haha i wished my own brother's that cute but he's not cos he broke his voice alr, sounds quite scary somemore! xD I really love kids :D

Yep yep quite fun cos got someone to play with me! (: I think i am quite childish sometimes eh haha.

Alot of people don't seem to be blogging much nowadays.

I sense it's due to the looming arrival of the "much-awaited" A levels.

There's nothing interesting to blog about too.

Except some random complaints here and there.

Yahhhhhhh. But I won't close this blog yet cos i don't know how LOL.

Okay prelim results are all out. It's not spectatcular like WOW but decent (: some improvements. HAHA like what Ann told me on the bus ride home, as long as there are improvements means that learning is on the right track. Let's hope what she said is true. :D

There's so much work to complete and yet I have to study for A levels. Sometimes I just feel like putting all work aside and just study.

TIMES PASSES SO QUICKLY I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S JUST ONE MONTH LEFT.

Bday celebration for ZH and HY @ clarke quay

The night scene at clarke quay's awesome :D

One thing I have to complain about that place is that there is hardly any shop selling cakes at such a huge place!

OMG I had to resort to asking the security guard on duty.

Finally found a cake at barcook bakery..and they only had one last cake left!!! Me and MJ were so happy :D

I can't believe I am so sotong...forgot to bring lighter and tissue paper for the cake. In the end I had to borrow lighter from one of the smokers smoking along the jetty. Heheh luckily they were quite nice (:

We were having such a hard time sustaining the fire for the candles that we looked almost desperate to the onlookers and passer-bys cos it was so so so windy. Had to sing an ultra fast bday song before the fire went out!

The cake was surprisingly delicious as it looked quite plain on the outside. But as they say, never judge a book by it's cover...in fact it is one of the nicest cake I've ever eaten! the only downside of the cake was that it was so huge, 1kg at that, the 6 of us were left bloated before we could even have dinner.

So we jalan around the Central before we went to Mr curry for some jap food.

HAHA the very spicy curry had no kick!

We chatted for awhile near the entrance of the Central before all of us reluctantly departed for home.

It just dawned upon us that we will only be seeing each other after A levels. How depressing...

After As. it will be Korea for the three of us ;D

Went to school today for CLL!

Phew was almost late...luckily all 3 buses came one after another. (: It's so hard to get to Hwa Chong from bedok.

1st lesson was CLL revision lecture.

THEONEFANG gave us a candle haha so that we can light it up when we are studying late at night LOL which will give us motivation to press on or something haha ;D

But the words on the back of the candle damn funny!

Break was quite fun today :D Me and cherntze were like persuading yiling and char to go for OCIP fujian! Standing outside LEP rm and weighing pros and cons! Haha we looked like we're having some illegal gathering or something. Yeah and reminiscing all the fun times we had in Nanjing and Xiamen! (: Ahhh. Now I feel like going alreadyyyy. How how how I want to go back and visit the kids! So tempting xD Linlaoshi says this time J2 won't have to do much (: But i think I have family plans for dec alr. :(

Got back paper one after the university admissions talk to China. I don't think I want to go to China aft the talk..it seems quite scary to study my modules in Chinese when I don't think I can handle them well in English alr.

But then. My dream uni is tokyo uni hahaha. Love Japan! I want to go to Japan and study (: I am in a dilemma cos I don't know Jap and I would have to spend a year learning jap. But but but what if I don't understand the lectures and tutorials in Jap? Uh-oh.

Guess I am most probably gonna stay in Sing. (:

Why they always give the paper in bits and pieces haha! I can't predict how much I will get in paper two. So I won't say whether I am satisfied with the results for paper one and overall (:

So scaryyy.

Time to study. i haven't done anything since Chem paper ended last fri. Except watching 7pm and 9pm show on Channel 8! Today last episode for 9pm show. Must watch!!!!!

My heart almost stopped when i received the GP essay today.

Ah damn nervous. I needed to get at least 25 for essay!! AHHHHHHHH

Although the comments were quite curt/stinging, the marks was okay :D

"Contradicting", "very silly response", "no logic!!!", "simplistic" were some of the comments i got. Okay I admit lah my essay consisted of quite alot of fluff. Like only 4 content paragraphs with some myopic examples.

After reading pride and prejudice by Jane Austen, I am currently going on to read Sense and Sensibility!

Hmm I think Jane Austen's books are quite thought-provoking.

I think she's gonna be one of my favourite authors!

I went to Borders today to buy another two of her books, Persuasion and Mansfield.

Her books are about romance between the wealthy families of the 18th century which offers a glimpse into the olden european/aristocrat families. Although the context doesn't seem to fit into the modern world, I find it a refreshing respite from the normal chick lit or modern romance literature I read. The language used by Jane Austen is quite hard to understand. Like what we study in 古文.

Must squeeze in time to read everyday! :D

The school library was so crowded today! Never seen anything like this in my life.

Yay tmr only 1.5 hr of sch :) But I think travelling from my hse to sch and both ways is >>1.5 hrs zzzzz

Can you believe we spent close to three hours learning how to put in contacts and take them out???? I think the optometrist was very very patient.

We were like stomping our feet and screaming when we couldn't get it right. Oops so embarrasing xD

Hello finally back from KL again haha ;D

My second trip to msia for the june holidays.

Wow saw alot of relatives that I haven't seen in ages.

I guess it is only during special occasions such as weddings that you get to see everyone.

Oh the hotel has astro TV haha. I get to watch world cup on the comfortable bed (: oh and late night suppers at the roadside hawker at Bukit Bintang.

KLCC is right beside the hotel!

The wedding banquet was really awesome :D I guess everyone had a great time catching up and camwhoring and dressing up LOL. Hmm I don't have much photos cos my mum took the cam and camwhored hahaha. Tsk.

Yay my relatives are so generous haha :D gave us alot of dumplings and bak kwa and stuff from hometown :D yum yum.

The traffic at KL is really bad :( For the wedding we had a trail of about 7-8 cars and we almost got lost cos many random cars cut in between and the traffic light turned red several times before all the cars could make a turn. Haha so in the end had to wait for people to rescue us on the first day.

today wasn't a very productive day :(

spent about 4 hours doing worksheets on GBV 1 and GBV 2. D:

realised i didn't know much about epistasis haha. And I finally knew how to calculate chi-square LOL. Next time I won't leave it blank alr :D

hmm then didn't do much at home. Realised that I can't remember much of the stuff I have studied for the past few days and feel so demoralised :( less than 2 weeks to blocks. Well taking a break now to blog. Sometimes I feel productive because I can study 4 chapters of bio straight but at times where I suffer from brain block like now, I can't seem to remember anything. I guess the brain is sending me signals to stop work and relax. Heh.

I think stress is probably getting into me these days.

I have been having drastic moodswings. Being super happy and laughing like crazy and being so upset over minor things that I could cry for idk how long.

Yesterday was probably one of the lowest points in my life. It was a day i really experienced extreme moodswings.

I was really pissed off with someone. Someone really dear to me.

In a fit of an anger I sat on my bed and typed this message out in a fit of an anger:

I AM VERY PISSED OFF AND I KNOW THAT I AM NOT SUPPOSED TO BUT I CAN'T HELP IT. VERY PISSED. SUPER PISSED AND I FEEL VERY PETTY FOR BEING PISSED BUT I STILL AM VERY PISSED AND I AM PISSED WITH MYSELF FOR BEING PISSED AT YOU WHICH MAKES ME EVEN MORE PISSED SO YOU BETTER NOT PROVOKE ME. I AM SO PISSED THAT I DON'T MAKE ANY SENSE NOW AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO PISSED AT YOU BEFORE

Of course I didn't send it out to the intended person. I just wanted to vent my frustration. But in the fit of anger I almost lost my mind and I probably would have sent that hurtful message. In the end, I saved it in my drafts. And tried to psycho myself that I shouldn't shouldn't be angry. In the subsequent messages that I sent out to the friend, it was quite acidic but I didn't make it obvious that I was angry, for subconsciously, I knew there would be dire consequences if I did. And I wasn't prepared to risk it.

And yet a verse came to me while I was angry, Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times. Then I sat at the bed and reflected on our friendship. And reflected what had happened. Our friendship for X years. X years, it was a long X years. I really really treasured this friendship . We have been almost everywhere together, been through many things, shared many things. Yes the friend wasn't perfect in all ways and of course I wasn't perfect too. I disliked many things about the friend and sometimes what the friend did really irked me. Once X years ago someone questioned me "Why do you hang out so often with the friend?"and not in a good tone either, like hanging out with her is like terrible or something, unacceptable. When I first saw the friend in ______, I thought the friend was 'friendless, boring, no-fun' sort of took pity and befriended the friend and brought the friend to my own clique. The friend didn't fit in well in the clique. The friend was often bullied and take advantage of by others. I left the clique. It was hard but I did. But I remembered looking out for the friend. So what if the friend's not "fun" at least the friend's pretty stable, nice, honest and simple. In fact, a good point is the good friend ain't as complicated as some people are. I don't care what others thought and I loved the friend for who the friend was and not for what the friend was. We accompanied each other alot. But after X years I have seen the friend grow and today the friend has changed alot for the better, more socially apt and likeable. For X years we never once fought before. For X years, despite our misgivings, we managed to maintain a strong bond between us. I asked myself : Was I a good friend to the friend? I probably wasn't enough. Was I being fair to the friend for being angry? I probably wasn't. What right had I for being angry with the friend? I probably didn't.

I felt my anger subside a little.

Thinking back, it was really stupid of me to do have typed that message in the first place. I am really glad that I managed to keep my cool and didn't press sent. I could have lost a really dear friend. A really dear blossom friend. The reason why I was so pissed in the first place seem so minor now and now I wonder why it was such a big deal in the first place. And yet anyone who knew me would know that I was not the type of person to get so pissed off easily and yet I was yesterday. Perhaps it was because this friend was so dear to me that it really mattered. So much so that love almost turned to hatred.

The sms that the friend sent back really made me teared. Torrents of tears. It made me feel so petty and little. I really don't deserve to have such a magnanimous friend. I wept because I was so ashamed of my own pettiness. I don't know if the friend would come across this post and know that i was once angry with the friend. I don't know if you know that you are the friend that I had been blogging about. But it probably won't matter now cos I am no longer angry with the friend. I was and am really glad that I still have the friend as my friend and I believe that we would still be friends for many years to come.

We like someone because. We love someone although.

I am sorry friend.

After csm, we went to Tsubohachi @ Ebisboshi Shotengai (Iluma @ Bugis). The super cool jap restaurant :D

Initially I was quite worried lah cos this was my first time organising our clique outing. And the online reviews said that the service was bad and the waiting time was very long. To our surprise, the staff were very friendly and our food were served up in a jifty :D

Haha sorry MJ for making you wait so long outside iluma for us. We were getting ice-cream cake for you :D Bugis junction has a lot of cake shops! We were hesitating over which shop to go. And when we finally decided which shop to go, we had to choose the cake flavour. Haha we just chose the flavour we liked most. In the end the flavour we wanted was sold out. And we were quite fail at keeping secret XD we actually called and ask MJ which flavour she liked most. LOL!

Oh and the ordering system at Ebisboshi Shotengai is very cool! I like the pen ordering system ;D very very fun! But we were quite blur at first lah :/ luckily the staff helped us out abit ;D I can't remember what we all ordered. But just lots and lots haha. Spent about 80 bucks? yeah. The staff really very nice! They help us to hide the cake and brought the cake out with the candles lit and surprised MJ! :D :D :D But before that, me and linli went back to bugis junction to collect the ice-cream cake and ran back to iluma with the excuse of going to the toliet/ having a stomachache. HAHAHAHA i think this trick has been used too many times already =.=

YES YES YES THE STRAWBERRY ICE-CREAM CAKE WAS YUMMY YUMMY! but very cold! My teeth ached a little. Yeah while we were posing with the cake for photos, the kitchen staff peeked out from the kitchen and laughed at us. HAHA i admit we were quite funny lah. And quite noisy also. But I really want to thank the staff for being so accomodating! For letting us eat the cake at the restaurant :D

After calculating our bill using the GC, we went to the arcade! :D cos the bday girl wanted to play the dunno-what-flyingplate thingy-the one that slides across the table with two players. Yeah then we took turns to play against each other. HAHA funny! We took alot of unglam shots of each other while playing cos our faces would contort during the game. LOL

Zi Hui your description of the couple at the arcade is epic! Can't stop laughing!

Went to watch Zi Hui's harmoc concert at AJC :D

Before the concert, me, mj, amanda and linli went to amk to eat Popeyes! Popeyes is quite unhealthy yeah. Oily. Haha and so we took many pieces of serviettes and squeezed the oil from the chicken LOL. Super funny!

And we got a pretty flower with a cute white bear attached :D ah sad didn't manage to take a pic of it. Oh and cookies too! :D

I enjoyed the concert alot! :D oh the harmoc concert had a solo called Butterfly lovers (: I liked that song alot haha. I think I heard it at lin zhuo's concert too (: Ooo it sounds quite different on the harmoc compared to the chinese orch. I think both versions are equally good :D Then MJ turned and whispered to me" hey this reminds me of the time in fujian where the high sch guys kept singing the 梁山伯 song on the bus!!!" Mj told me that she has the song LOL. Omg omg haha we both burst out laughing!

I really must sleep earlier from now on.

Yesterday i slept at 130am because I was trying my best to chiong GP work. In the end I also never finish doing zzzz I just blanked out. So I just climbed onto my bed and fell asleep. I told myself I would only sleep for awhile. Maybe I would wake up at 5am to complete the remaining work. But in the end, I overslept and was almost late for school! 640am! Rushed like mad in the morning :(

Was super drained the entire day. Lack of sleep.

Stoned during bio lecture and dazed out. Didn't really catch what the lecturer was saying. Zzzz slept abit, listened abit and copied abit. Couldn't focus :( My mind turned blank and I feel asleep on several occasions without realising. My eyes were wide open but somehow my view turned black several times.

Then there was CLL lessons. 2 hours! I really tried my best to keep myself awake! I read the notes to keep myself awake but somehow it made me sleepier.

Math lesson. Just blindly copying what the lecturer wrote. I was resting my chin on my elbow on the table and then my elbow slipped off the table when I dozed off. Then i was writing the = sign in the math equations and somehow they became three long strokes. And there were many randoms dots on the page.

I AM GOING TO SLEEP EARLY TODAY. provided that I finish all my tutorials and GP grpwork.

OMG my crazy phone deleted all my 3765 messages in my inbox D: damn sad lah.

Yay haha raced Kliven and Marcus and I WON them woohoo!!!! At first I was like last but caught up heheh ;D Han Loong was like " wah last become first!!" LOL i felt quite accomplished. :P Then we watched them play super mario and basketball. Was taking pic of char and sy playing basketball then saw yc, gy, theo and zk. Oops haha they thought we went home and was quite shocked to see us there.

My palm and my sole are very itchy.

No I am not having hand foot and mouth disease.

I am just having a bout of mosquito bites at very weird and sensitive places.

I mean having mosquito bites at your palms and soles is super duper irritating and itchy.

The more you scratch the more itchy it feels and itchier it gets. Scratch scratch scratchy scratch.

I can't stop scratching. I rub my feet against the table edge, against the floor, against the doormat, against my bed. Omg.

Today in school I felt the itch under my sole but I knew it was too unhygienic to scratch. What could I do? I tried stamping my feet in a bid to scratch it.

Stupid mosquitoes. The soles and palms don't have much blood to suck do they?

Leave my palms and soles alone.

But I don't mean you can bite me elsewhere too.

Hmm my life is boring.

GO watch Koizora :))))) I love that movie alot! Beautiful story plot. But don't blame me if you end up crying alot like I did. I watched it two times :D then i couldn't take it anymore cos I was too tired from bawling my eyes out.

Been stuck at the library for weeks sitting by the conky old printer which takes one hour to print 27 pages. Sian. And then there's library week and elections coming up. Which means I get to step down really soon (:

Hehe i saw this really cute hamster at a pet shop with mj and linli the other day at parkway's. HAHA they promised to buy it for me on my bday (: LOL don't think my mum will allow. Now I am like obssessed with the thought of having a pet. So exciting right? Maybe I will hide it somewhere. Yeah and we ate Carl's Junior. And I ordered thick burger combo set omg. I can't even bite it properly cos it was like so thick. But hey i finished it (: So proud of myself. I guess I was hungry yeah haha. Mj how dare you say I got small stomach!!! I eat more than you :D But eating Carl's junior's burger is really a messy affair. I used up 10 pieces of tissue cos the sauce was like oozing everywhere. I totally agree with it's tagline: It's gonna get messy.

Oh yeah even my phone is going haywire. I just received messages that was sent to me two days ago. =.= sorry if I don't reply you guys or something cos I can't receive sms properly.

I almost cried during the third ju for Huangcheng...but there were alot of people laughing and it kinda disrupted my sadness. Yeah I think the plot for the third ju was really good! I like the little boyboy so cute! And the lines were pretty well thought-up. It was a rather sad ju but it had some witty lines within that were quite funny so it sorts of relieves the tense nature of the ju itself. BUT I LIKE THE SECOND JU BEST BECAUSE MY MORTAL ACTED IN IT!!!!!!!

Before Huangcheng I met up with Char, cherntze and yanjie for dinner. Ate at Raffles City's subway. Oh oh know what happened? I was carrying so many flowers that people thought I was selling them =.= cos I bought 3 daisy, one big sunflower and three roses for my friends and then on my way to meeting them, an auntie asked me whether i was selling them =.= anyway the flowers looked so pretty and colourful :D Hmm should have taken a pic of all of them before giving them away hee hee.

Haha char very funny!! Laugh until both our stomachs hurt alot at the party shop. Cherntze and yanjie thought we both zi-highing. Cute leh! The large umbrella and the pouring water out of the shoe incident!!!

Oh mans at first jolynn owe me 24 bucks for the tickets and now i owe her 26 bucks instead cos she gave me a fifty dollar note =.=

Hey it's Good Friday today! :D

Yup it's a very special day. :)

It's the day when Jesus Christ died on the cross of Calvary to save us from our sins so that we may receive salvation and be with God again.

Although today I am still very sick and lying in the bed most of the time, I managed to lift myself out of the bed and read the Daily Bread and sang/hummed praise songs ( tried to sing but voice keeps breaking due to bad throat) QT time :D

Isaiah 53: 7 "He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth." Even though Jesus was wronged and accused, he did not protest and feel hatred against those who persecuted him. Instead, he interceded for them and asked his Father to forgive them for they do not know what they were doing. Jesus still loved them even though they were hurting and mocking him.

Good friday is the day where we remember God for sending His one and only son Jesus Christ for sacrificing and dying on the cross for us because He loves us so much. God is love. Because Jesus died on the cross for us, we are given a new life in Him.

Very touched by our wonderful God and His great and timeless love for us. How could greater love than this ever possibly exist? " For God so loved the world that he gave His one and only son so that those who believe in Him shall not perish but have eternal life". Thank you Jesus for loving me unconditionally. Our God truely is an awesome God! Amen!

It's April Fool's today and I've got the worst prank ever played on me.

How awful is it to be stuck, cooped up at home sick on such a fun day!!

Woke up this morning coughing badly D: Almost thought I had TB my goodness!! ( PW nightmare) Whenever I see TB or anything related to TB/ key words I will think of PW. Hmm occupational hazard. After all, I faced TB for the whole of last year.

Wah cough until my throat pain. Initially I thought only a minor cough still quite fit to go to school but when I opened my mouth to speak only a hoarse croaky sound could be heard. Aiyoh my mum immediately asked me not to go to school and rest. Then I coughed non-stop.

Sleep , sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep, sleep. I slept all the way until 3.30pm. ZZZZzzzzzzzz.
Then I woke up for lunch. Not much appetite. Then i felt abit feverish and my throat feels extremely sore. Went back to sleep again and swallowed panadol.

Oh mans when I woke up later, I felt very dizzy and hot. Ate a few mouthfuls of rice and felt quite nauseous. Then my mum accompanied me to the doctor's. Waited for about half an hour even though my mum called beforehand for an appointment cos alot of people sick too. Doctor took my temp. I knew I had a fever but I didn't expect my body temperature to be that high. 39.2!!! I let out an AH! I must have looked very stunned plus shocked. Wah doctor laughed at my expression O.O And so I had an mc for 2 days ( aiyoh good friday not counted hehe) 5 different types of medication. And one of it is so big and hard to swallow need alot of water.

Feels very horrible to be sick. Everyone must take care and not fall ill! Drink lots of water and sleep early. :D

Aiyoh very sad I made a wrong choice in not going to my usual hairdresser :(

Blame myself for being so lazy. I should have should have gone to my hairdresser!!

Okay okay it was my fault again for asking her to cut it abit shorter. But I really said abit abit. Maybe she heard cut short until left abit??? omg.

My fringe looks so..short? hope it grows really quickly heheh. Nvm lah at least eh can save a trip to the hairdresser for a month?

OH yeah today we had combined assembly and ARES was put into the LT, i think it was LT 3, and the rest of the fac ( Apollo, Artemis, Athena) was in the auditorium. And we had this live video conference cos it was principal's dialogue. I was so unlucky mans!!! Sitting facing the camera upfront :O :O :O okay okay at first the camera wasn't directly facing me lah. But then suddenly the IT guy TURNED/ swerved the camcorder until it was directly facing me cos there was a teacher standing beside me and the principal directed a question to him :O :O :O so embarrasing! Me and Char was kinda uneasy cos all our actions/deeds blah blah could be seen by almost the entire student population!! According to MJ who was in the auditorium, she saw my and char's big big face zoomed in for 1/3 of the whole dialogue session period of about 1 hour plus. Aiyoh aiyoh "famous" liao lah seen by 1000 plus people.

I miss Charmaine so much lah :( :( :( She has gone to Barcelona for dance competition. Only coming back on next thursday. Good luck!! :D So envious I want to go Spain, Barcelona too. Oh yeah she told me it's like 15 degrees there now. Brrrrrrrr cold leh must take care! Hee hee i very naughty, I wrote a colourful bon voyage/ good luck letter to her during the PSC talk. Yay read it when you miss me kay? :D But that was after the speakers had spoken and gave us some free time to think of questions. And I listened too! :) PSC talk was an eye-opener! Must be really smart to be a PSC scholar! And the working hours quite long too, plus stressful and heavy workload.

HOHOHO block tests are finally over (:

Had a good night's sleep after so many days of burning midnight oil.

After bio paper went out to have crazy fun with yl, mf, char, xy, sy:D

Alighted at plaza sing and went to dine at crazily popular Aston's. Wow such a long queue when it has barely opened at 11.30am. All the shops were closed shut. We were contemplating whether to catch a movie but in the end we couldn't make our mind and so we didn't watch any in the end. I had to go back to school for J1 CCA orientation while yl, mf and sy had to go for some law talk that I wanted to go badly.

Ordered the usual chargrill while the rest ordered...uh i forgot what. Let the picture describe itself (:

Waited quite long for the food...ah super hungry! So while waiting, we chatted alot about many things, from very random stuff like what type of hair dyes are good, what nail polish colors are nice, about sec school life, irritating siblings, and cool variety and reality shows :D Oh mans we sat at Aston's for almost 3 hours! And we were making quite alot of noise laughing oops.

Hmm a rather fail 自拍 shot cos only 5/6 people taken, cutting xy off. And half of char is seen.

So in the end we resorted to taking half group photos.

After we asked for the bill and paid, we went out and guess who we saw? Q and G haha so sweet :D heheh ;D

We then walked over to plaza sing for some shopping!!! Saw very pretty lava lamps but the very practical yiling persuaded us not to buy it. But I find it very fascinating :)) Then we went to the Build-a-bear workshop and browsed around. Hmm the bears quite expensive leh. And they have so many types of clothing for the bears haha and the bears even have their own ID and pets and handphone and MP3 O.O Char joked that she only wanted the skin of the bear without any cotton cos it looked cuter that way. Uh. Okay. Quite cute lah. Flimsy flimsy one. Then we went to spotlight to look for presents.

After that I had to rush back to school alone cos i was rushing late :( Got stuck along bukit timah road and was late for 30 mins!

And so we had exco meeting for lib week before proceeding on to the j1 orientation. Watched some cool and interesting videos and sharing session plus games with juniors :D Wah uno stacko gave me a heart attack! We lost the dice and so we invented our own way of playing. The other player gets to decide the color of the brick that the next player is supposed to take. There was lots of saboe-ing. Esp mj who made me take quite a few dangerous bricks. D:

Then some of the exco members me, mj, xiao xiao, che chi stayed back for our own bonding session of watching interesting videos. Haha watched wonder girls MV, Girl generation, and a part of a korean variety show where a 3 year old girl tried to imitate wonder girls DAMN CUTE!! And there was a food fight video which was kinda cool cos they used food to depict the world wars 1 and 2 and the 911 incident.

At 820pm watched horror movie with huiyi :D haha it's not exactly horror though. According to her, it's a hormedy. Yeah yeah it was a funny movie with scary parts. Some of it really quite ridiculous haha! The cast were quite hilarious. But it did get boring at some parts cos there wasn't enough kick.

I think the real horror is my block tests. Nightmare!

MUGGING WEEK

hmm during the march holidays I went to alot of different places in an attempt to study my thick pile of notes in a condusive environment cos my house had too many distractions tsk.

Went to amk lib, amk macs, MJ's mum's office, yiling's condo function room and school lib.

Studied at yiling's condo function room. I think it's a great place to study haha :) got lots of tables and chairs :D the only prob is there are quite alot of comfortable sofas that will make you feel sleepy heh. And a karaoke room to boost. A pity there's no mike haha. Oh and a pool table!! Quite fun watching bixuan, yiling and mj playing pool cos I didn't know how to play :( the first time I tried I shot the white ball into the hole D: FAIL. Ordered in pizza for lunch :D yay!

Tried a new place: MJ mum's office.

Actually it's her mum's tuition centre classroom :) there were no students on certain days so we could use it yay! It's really quiet and nice there and lots of great food at Katong. :D but the downside was that it was freezing cold at the office. We couldn't adjust the temp cos it was under the central aircon system at Katong Shopping Centre. Had to wear two layers of jacket!! Oh there's a whiteboard for us to scribble down what we learnt haha.

Was bored studying so I drew this:

yeah and on the 19/3 after half day of mugging, we went to suntec city to have our dose of red mango yoghurt whee:) reward for being so studious. While in the toilet we spotted something interesting. Hmm. MJ took it with her phone and bluetooth it to me. Actually don't think many ppl will understand. Hehe not r-rated hor.

Then me and mj tried walking from suntec to victoria theatre to watch the Tan Kah Kee show put up by high sch chinese drama. We got quite lost indeed. It was 5 mins to the start of the performance and victoria theatre was nowhere to be seen. Oh mans. Almost hailed a cab. But at the corner of her eye, MJ spotted a familiar structure. Mj, being a huangcheng ren, jumped for joy and ran all the way across the traffic light. Me, being blur and a 路痴 had quite a slow reaction and it didn't dawn upon me that we had reached victoria theatre by sheer chance and luck! :) We thanked our lucky stars and proceeded in for the show.

I seriously think TAN KAH KEE is an awesome man! And the production was excellent :) saw jizhou, mingming, jiashen and eyu. FLS gave us front seats haha :D cool got nice view yay! Storyline and actors/actresses were great :) Kinda glad that MJ dragged me to go and watch it. Oh haha saw mingyu at the 谢幕 didn't know he's in costume.

These few days I have been settling my own dinner tgt with my bro's cos mum went back to msia.

Haha yesterday so cool had pepper lunch for dinner!! I guess that's one nice thing without parents hehe. We get to choose what we liked to eat.

So happy they will be back on tuesday!! yay :D

Hmm today went back to school for PSC psychometric test. Reached school quite early cos MJ wants to have lunch with me. Saw dominic and Gao Tian outside the toilet haha and they warned me that the test was very tiring and there were super alot of questions to do. Waited for MJ to finish phy lessons and go for lunch. Haha somehow I ended up having lunch with her class lol!

So we walked over to coro golden rooster to have lunch. Got to know a few of her classmates :D quite nice. Pauline's very friendly. Oh and her class guys quite gentlemanly wor. Cos golden rooster's was super crowded today and they offered to grab chairs and give up their seats to me and mj haha. Wow Po cheng is a very hungry guy he ate fried rice and a plate of chicken mushroom rice and a drink O.O

Then we talked complained about how long the psychometric test is. 4 Hours!! but all are MCQs. Then pauline commented that this is nothing compared to her eng lit paper cos 3 hours of non-stop writing. Then me, po cheng and mj told her that our full CLL paper is 6 hours long and can write until 抽筋 one haha. Then she was like " okay fine you all win" LOL

Super drained by the psycho test :( so many questions to do! within a time period of 20 mins or 40 mins. But I managed to finish everything somehow haha cos I just guessed most of the answers? Hmm personality test got 240 qns. WOW all in all I think got about 500 qns?? And i survived it yay! :D

Oh no how I still have so much to study for BLOCKS :/

It's always fun hanging out with them. Lots of laughter and chatting and funny incidents that never fails to tickle the whole group :)

We had a combined march babies bday celebration today! Me and Linli's bday :D

Ate at Din Tai Fung. Ordered alot. I think our bill came up to 80 plus. Me and Linli ordered the most haha :D but we shared. Xiao long bao, chili crab buns, shrimp dumpling and yam paste buns. Hmm I can't really remember what the others ordered. Oops. Drank like 5-6 cups of green tea haha. Cos very thirsty. Amanda and Huiyi were behaving very suspiciously and laughing to themselves at random times throughout the whole course of the dinner and Linli was like " What's wrong with the both of them?! " Hmm after that they "went" to the "toilet" for a long time. Like 45 mins? They came back laughing to themselves again. Haha. After the meal, they claimed that they needed to go "toilet" again but this time, they came back with a cake in their hands with MJ shielding them haha so funny!! And very cute!! OMG the cake is very hmm ORIGINAL in the sense that they decorated it themselves!! DIY. Yeah quite prettyy leh. ;D I mean they squeezed the words with colored cream themselves and drew lots of hearts and pasted stars sweets :D LOVE THE CAKE!

Oh the staff at Din Tai Fung very nice!! They didn't chase us out even though there was a huge crowd outside. They even offered us new plates to eat our cakes and poured tea for us :) We sang bday song quietly lol damn funny!! Yum yum the cake very delicious. Black forest cake with frozen blueberries. Not too creamy, unlike those cakes that make you feel sick easily aft you have taken a few bites. Wow this 18th bday I had a total of 6 cakes altogether! Unbelievable.

We were all very bloated aft that and decided to fool around with the leftover PAU.

To burn off the excessive calories from the meal, we walked over to cineleisure for a commemorative bday portrait at the neoprint machines.

Never knew taking neoprints was so stressful. Phew! Haha we were busy changing positions and making up poses cos there were only a few seconds in between each shot! In the past, all the machines we used had unlimited time for decorations but this one only gave us 3 mins! And we couldn't read jap so we kinda panicked and did alot of wrong stuff. But the end product turned out quite nicely... not as bad as we thought haha.

We sorta agreed that the last one is one of the nicest haha ;D

I AM SO SORRY MJ!!

Oh mans I was supposed to meet her at 830am and I specially set my alarm at 700am so that I would wake up nice and early as I sort of bet that I would be earlier than her. Cos she was late the other time even though I live further than her from amk. Hehe. And so the alarm rang promptly at 700am. My hand reached out lazily and pushed the button off. Somehow, still dreamily, i thought i pressed the snooze button. I fell and laid back on my comfy soft bed. ZZZzzzzzzz.

2 hours later.... *takes a look at my handphone, still very sleepy, took quite a while to get use to the sunlight filtering through the windows. Stretches and yawns slowly.

It was only a moment later that I registered the time, *SCREAMS and JUMPS off the bed, grab all my stuff and rush to the bathroom. No breakfast, grabs bag and dashes out of the house.

Oh mygosh!! I was 1.5 hours late for our meeting ARGH!! :O

Ate breakfast at mak macs and studied there with MJ. She's a very magnanimous person :) Ah I am really so sorry. I will not sleep in again aft the alarm rings. Yiling joined us later for a while before we went for lunch at amk hub.

WOOHOO pepper lunch for lunch :D :D :D I had unagi while mj and yiling had salmon. They both ordered delicious soft ice-cream ( sesame and green tea flavoured) while I watched on. So sad I couldn't eat :( but they very nicely offered me spoonfuls of it haha :)

After that we accompanied yiling to the photo-developing shop to develop photos from her cute piggy camera :) Hmm the shopkeeper didn't place the film into her cam correctly and so she tried to fix it while walking to amk lib. Eh me and mj couldn't help her much as we aren't photog pros. Haha she finally fixed it in the lib! And took a photo of us using her "antique" cute camera :D eh got funny sound! I want to see the photo soon :) wonder how it went :) Okay i still prefer my steady and user-friendly digital cam!

Spent a long time doing math revision package haiz...integration is quite horrible yes. Gave up and tried to study bio.

Hmm at least i manage to study today without distractions :D

My 18th Birthday was WOW!

Hmm I don't know where to start from.

Bday treat at swensen, strawberry heart-shaped cake from yiling, bengawan solo chocolate cake from MJ, tiramisu cake from family, breaktalk fruit cake from far-ma-lay! Hoho they tried to surprise me but I found out:D

Bday letters from 1st angel, 2nd angel and lovelyy mortal! :D plus " I love hui lin" teddy and pretty folded stars from 1st angel, cute package with lots of surprises by mortal and balloon and stickers from 2nd angel :)) Oh yeah they damn cute! My mortal somehow got my number and smsed me :O Okay she found me out! And my angels, I know who you guys are too! Don't deny anymore le! ;D

Beautiful cross pendant and necklace from mum and dad! :D Steamboat treat at my fav restaurant!

Oh and the capitaland shopping vouchers from the 09S72!! Retail therapy woohoo! Thanks char for so painstakingly wrapping it with the pretty purple ribbon. You spent one hour right!

But they managed to surprise me on Saturday after service!! I really didn't expect it cos I thought that they would be celebrating Fung Min and Yan Ming's bday instead cos mine was over. WOW I was truely speechless. Pink helium star-shaped balloon and pink heart-shaped strawberry cake and hand-written notes by lifegrp peeps and "God is closer than you think" book!! :D :D :D THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! Haha pei ying told me later that she deliberately led me away and accompanied her to buy food so that they can prepare for the surprise. :) And I was wondering where mengfei and szemin went. They went to get the cake and present! And everyone was behaving kinda strangely...I LOVE HCNJ lifegrp loads and loads :))))))))

Hey friends, just wanna let you all know that no matter what happens, I will always be there for you all. If you wanna talk, give me a call anytime :D I will always be there to listen. Or if you just want company or a hug, I will be most willing to give it to you!

We all have our ups and downs. Tell yourself that you have given your best and it's nobody's fault. What's important now is that we get over our griefs, learn from mistakes and stand up again, stronger and more determined than ever. I am sorry I couldn't comfort you all properly today. I was loss for words. All I could do was to give you a pat, a hug and wipe away those tears. I was afraid that I would hurt your feelings. I want to see you all smile again and be your bubbly selves!

There is still a long road ahead of us, and what matters now is that we have to pick ourselves up and gear up for the ultimate challenge : A levels 2010.

And the ever optimistic dream banana, who is always smiling and laughing, I know even though you keep saying that you are okay, you have been hiding your feelings from me in order not to affect me. If you need a treat of red mango ( your fav yoghurt), we can always go down to suntec aft sch or during the weekends. I know that I can't change what happened, I just hope that I can cheer you up. Love you loads.

Today is a HAPPIE day :D

Huiyi treated me to swensen as a bday treat in advance :) Thank you girl! I appreciate the thought :D Initially we wanted to have lunch at sakae sushi but we realised that there's no sakae sushi branch at Tampines :( Oops we both very blur.

We ordered clam chowder and spicy baked rice with clayfish. Yum yum very delicious. :D

The bread for clam chowder quite hard but the soup's very savoury :) the spicy baked rice is more sour than spicy but delicious!

Had a crazy and fun time taking lots of peektures and laughing at the silly pics. And huiyi you very pervertic leh! I don't friend you liao haha just joking. Okay i shall not say what happened here. I am so disturbed. You are so crafty wahaha.

Anyway I really thank you for today's treat! :D LOVE YOU LOADS AND LOADS MUACKS. I know you have lots of tests next week but you still came out for lunch to celebrate my bday in advance with me:) I really appreciate it! Heh sorry 害你破费了！ Next time i treat you to sushi :) Set ah! this week has been hectic but fulfilling as well :)

last wed has two presentations at LT 2, one about the service learning project at ACS primary and the other one on OCIP fujian :D

Hmm did everything rather last min so my mind went blank on certain occasions and I forgot what I wanted to say! I got alot of things I want to share with the juniors :) actually we had photos for the SL project but we couldn't insert it into the ppt on time, so we had to make do with plain slides with merely back words. After me and mf's sharing, i rushed back to the classroom and prepared for the ocip presentation and printed my script from the lep staffroom. Phew! Running everywhere! yeah I was like quite nervous for the ocip presentation cos got alot of juniors watching! heh.

My angel commented that my voice is stil quite blah. oops I think I ate too much bak kwa and chinese new year goodies. I think got like 10cans left thanks to generous malaysian relatives. How am I suppose to finish it? Yeah so my throat felt quite sore then.

Haha the high school guys' sharing was really hilarious! OMG esp the jian zhi cong part in the classroom. So true! And there's the 经典MJ pic with 101 comments on fb lol! And yao-ge part haha. So entertaining :D

Renlaoshi's lesson on friday! Oh mans renlaoshi always makes people cry with his videos and songs he found from the internet. I 忍 very long and tried my best not to cry but a tear drop still escaped down my cheeks. The pictures of war victims and people dying from starvation. It's just not fair. The issue was quite solemn, about wars and victims and why war is never right. Yes I think war is WRONG and I don't think it should happen at all. :( It made me ponder alot about God and His ways and why there is still suffering in the world. Go listen to the song "TELL ME WHY" it will really make you cry. I was so touched. But sometimes I think I am too emotional lah. But in any case, it makes a really good reflection of everything that has happened around the world. And the issues in CLL lessons is quite relevant to GP!

And on Saturday I went for svc :D ...ah haven't gone for quite a while due to CNY and chingay. It's special valentine's day svc :) met up with jolynn haven't seen her in a long time haha. She still very cute! Must come back on friday and visit :) oh anyway we both have to take our A level results oh mans i am damn nervous. Rich woman spend 200 dollars on clothes haha you are more of a shopaholic than me!

Had a nice long talk with Fungmin. She answered many of my doubts I had about God, about many aspects of Christianity. Thank you so much :DD Hope we can continue to grow in God's word and know each other better :)

Whee e-learning on 1st and 2nd march! Can sleep in yay:))

todayy got swimming at poolside!

wah so many people went down into the water to swim today leh, so rare! haha :D yes I swam today!

ahaha so conscious cos i think i put on weight oops =X you know what? My relatives commented that I look fatter than last year during the cny house-visitings! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHH this can't be true! I really must watch what I eat! LOL we so conservative kept refusing to take our uniform off and covered ourselves with towels and swimming floats and jumping into the pool straight after shower haha :D

Mf and I both swimming for the first time with the class, so we decided to join the beginners class even though we knew how to swim with our own unorthodox techniques. Oh mans turns out that Me and mf have been doing the legs stroke wrongly for the frogstyle ( breast stroke) all the time :( so Mr Ram kept us back and made us practise leg strokes. Ouch my ribcage hurts from leaning on the sides of the pool for almost the whole lesson! Oh and i can't hold myself down and stay root on the ground while under water :( I have too much buoyancy! ( fats) :(:(:(:(:( can i cry??? :(:(:(:(:(

to make ourselves feel better, we decide to swim on our own while Mr Ram continued teaching the others. HEY we can swim fast with our own techniques! Not bad luh. And backstroke! Not entirely correct but at least we can swim okay. yeah yeah quite depressed lah because I used to have a cert k. My swimming skills have flown away!

Eh I didn't know you can control the power of the shower in the toilet! =O

We were released late from swimming so in the end only have about 4-5 mins to bathe + walk from poolside to college + class bench to take bag + pack takeways + go to lep room for chinese lit lessons. Rushing like mad mad mad! wah like run mararthon like that crazy!

Oh yes mr Loy very cute todayy! During lecture, he tried to demonstrate how alcohols react with Na but since Na was covered with a layer of oil, it didn't appear to react. He kept shooking and banging and squeezing and picking and poking at the Na metal. So funny! He kept at it for about 10-15 mins? lol before he finally declared the expt a failure. That is perseverance and determination! After that he kept checking on the set-ups. So it turns out that he hadn't given up yet. Only after a LONG LONG time did bubbles begin evolving haha!

Oh tmr got two presentations in the afternoon, SL project and OCIP ppt!! Still haven't do slides and script yet. Oh no.

ahahah today lifegrp breakfast session only three people turn up :/ yay i finally reach on time haha. Oh wells hope next time will be a success!

today combined morning assembly at high school quite hilarious. A guy's trombone slide flew out suddenly while playing with the band. And he so cute, went to pick it up in the middle of playing. Me and qh couldn't stop laughing oops. Yeah i play the trombone last time so I kinda symphatize with the guy. Poor thing, he must have got teased badly later on.

hmm tmr dunno why so tired and lethargic in the early part of the day....must have been I haven't woke up properly yet. I kept dozing off during GP lesson and chem lesson :( Haiz i must TRY to sleep earlier from now on, cos it's really bad to sleep in class :(

today don't know why the whole canteen so crowded today...got fed up with queuing so in the end went to get instant noodles to eat with char. saw juanmao on the way.

today bio practical is about yeast fermentation and counting carbon dioxide bubbles! quite fun! the yeast was madly evolving bubbles as the temp got higher lol! I couldn't keep up with the timing! but the yeast very smelly leh...

after school went to do lib duty with yiling! We were like shocked by how hardworking the J1s are, almost all the seats were filled up and all the bio books were flying off the shelves rapidly =O turns out that they were doing research on lipids! Haha knew they won't be so hardworking for nothing! while walking about, we saw someone who looked alot like Joyce, 08S72 senior and my mortal! Best mortal :)) But we dismissed that thought as we didn't expect her to be back in school uni and using the lib com.

after lib duty went back to class bench to check out the angel-mortal box. Hmm nothing yet. Haha of course, today i just sent out the letters :) then, we saw Joyce! It's really her! Oh mans! I missed her so much. She missed me too! :D Chatted for quite a long while at the class bench before walking off to the bus stop opposite tgt :) And she's coming again tmr! whee! Ah A level results in 2 weeks' time. Crossing my fingers and praying real hard! I want a miracle!

Home-based learning on my bday woohoo! can stay at home and slack haha :D and go out!!

It was a night to remember :)) yeah servant leadership and customer service! I thoroughly enjoyed ushering the premium red sector ticket holders :DD luckily there were not much difficult customers other than those who requested for free stuff or souvernirs that were out of stock.

Oh yeah i saw a lot of familiar faces in the crowd over two days of chingaying! Jiawei and his council friends, Shirley and bf, primary sch and sec sch mates!!!

I think I smiled non-stop for 4 hours geez my facial muscles are sore :/ but damn fun damn fun! I want to chingay again next year! Seriously damn tiring from 1 plus in aft to midnight but really really awesome nonetheless!

The parade was just WOW! Fireworks, special lightings, glittery costumes, light sticks, pom-poms, hot-air balloons and FLOWER CARS ( FLOATS) HAHA

Helloo I am back from Malaysia :)

I endured a 11 hour car ride from Ipoh :O

My ah ma and ah gong's very pretty bungalow! :DD

Wah the weather very warm, even hotter than s'pore...I checked the temp like everyday and I bathe like almost 3 times daily. It was like 42 degree c back at my ah ma's hse in sitiawan, perak. Almost fell sick but I kept spamming myself with water and panandol to pre-empt the virus/bacteria. Couldn't resist the delicious goodies my aunts made, drank quite a bit at dinners and gatherings, plus all the late gambling sessions, so in the end got slightly feverish.

And the worst thing is there is always short circuit/circuit breakdown/blackout everytime the weather is at its hottest or when we are at the climax of our gambling session/just when I was about to win blackjack. Suddenly feel damn stuffy and sianz. But quite cool lah, we made use of candles and sang ourselves birthday songs for self-entertainment. And walked around the big big hse with our hp and scared ppl. Lol got one time I was brushing my teeth in the kitchen and suddenly the lights went out. Scared me to death cos it was pitch dark and I was imagining cockcroaches and rats and lizards crawling beneath my legs to get me. Luckily my dad came in with a small torch to save me.

Oh yes I went to the mega department store GIANT and suddenly there was a blackout. Woah damn scary leh and I was damn worried that there would be a stampede or something. Luckily they have a back-up generator and soon I was happily shopping again!

My cousins are damn adorable lol. i especially love chong! he's three this year and he calls me 大妹妹 and 蝴蝶 and sometimes he calls me 阿婆。he opens every can drink in sight and gives his mum's money to everyone for fun. We would tease him and ask him for the biggest note. But then again he has his naughty and mischievious moments too. He hits people with the back scratcher that my ah ma uses. And he peels oranges without eating them and scatters them on the floor and throws cookies on the floor and stepping on them. Once he even spat the cookie out and it seriously looked like vomit. eww. But yah i still think he's damn cute!

Yes yes chinese new year was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed myself despite the many disasters :D received lots and lots and lots and lots of angbaos!!! YAY so happy that my dad and mum got so many siblings!! Saw lots of people I haven't met in ages. Wow i think my hometown damn cool! There's like a prawn farm, mushroom farm, and bird nest houses. And my ah gong has durian plantation, my ah ma has palm oil and rubber and they have rabbits and chickens and coconuts and bananas and papayas. Had fun picking them :) And eating them! :D

Loved the carefree days without school! Oh manz time to face the music :( back to homework and lectures and tutorials and school.

okay shall update what happened for the past few dayzzz!!

WED: we had senior-meet-junior woohoo! yes yes yes been looking forward to seeing our junior class. They are so hip and happening :) cool! We played some games, had some drinks and food and picked names for the angel-mortal game :DD But i quite sad lah...this year got no Cedar juniors in my class...:( But nevermind:) cos i think my mortal and angel are quite wild and crazy lol and they reply fast with long letters yay! I shall give them pretty and long letters too! <3 yes i love writing letters and receiving gifts and giving gifts!! I think my angel and mortal very lucky leh haha. I very lucky also, got responsive and enthu angel and mortal :):):)

Then there was CCA exhibition. Went to the library to prepare some stuff for deco and flyers and souvenirs for juniors. Running up and down four levels non-stop. Phew! Ah dropped my wallet on the floor and panicked :( BUT hcians are really honest and I found my wallet on the bench. Someone must have put it there safely :D Whoever that was, THANK YOU! My wallet is my everything manzzz! Promoted library to some juniors. Not bad eh, we managed to get about 60-70 positive responses. Played uno stacko at the lib booth and the loser had to do forfeit by promoting lib to new juniors before she can join the game. Uno stacko is damn scary wor! Nearly got heart attack everytime it was my turn, cos the blocks were hanging precariously on its edges and was on the brink of collapsing! Plus there was the strong wind aiding the speedy fall of the blocks. D: Some people were amused when they watched us playing haha. Walked around and visited other booths and helped to promote YLEP booth to people too :) ERM do we look like J1s?? Some people tried to promote their CCA to us lol. This shows that we are youthful! :D

THUR: attended HCNJ lifegrp for the first time :DD THANK YOU everyone for making me feel welcomed!! Played really fun and hilarious games like the nivea whitening lotion one. Ah the cat and mouse tie game was scary~~ Then we had had Holy communion where everyone gathered around and gave thanks and reminded ourselves how Christ died on the cross for us to save us from our sins. Worship and sharing session was inspiring and refreshing! I hope that I will continue to grow under God's word and HCNJ lifegrp. Amen!

FRI: Today is yiling's bday! bought a pretty blue cup with angel wings whee! Took a pic with the present and the bday girl haha :D aiyah feel shy when she told me the letter was funny heh. HAPPY BIRTHDAY YILING! nice cake :) and your bag very cute!

Then me, yiling and mj walked over to src LT to attend talk by social entrepreneur Diana Saw who graduated from Hwa Chong in 1988. The talk was an eye-opener. The things that Diana Saw does is very meaningful in the sense that she kills two birds with one stone. She sets up a company called BLOOM that specialises in making recycled bags which are all handmade with love by single mums in Cambodia. On one hand, she helps poor cambodians get by with their livelihood and on the other hand, she's saving the planet :D Truely inspiring! But the downside to doing business in Cambodia is that there is like corruption and it's pretty lawless there cos people can pour acid on you when they are upset or displeased with you or you offended them. She told us how her former most trusted worker betrayed her by doctoring the accounts and worked with the manufacturer to tweek the prices. Yeah i guess some people just don't know how to repay other's kindness which is really sad. Loads of question from the floor cos her talk was really interesting!

After the talk, we took bus 74 to AMK for KOI bubble tea. Ahaha sinful. Yiling and mj ordered small cup while I ordered Medium hehe. But it's super nice. So who cares.

Jian Zhi Cong has very nicely peeled off all our seven photographs on the classroom walls!!!!!!!

This afternoon, I tried my luck calling the numbers on the slips of paper that the children gave....asked them about their lives, classroom, friends, weather blah blah blah.

I realise that calling to china using handphone is quite affordable :) I got $55 worth of international calling yay! Used up only like 60 cents for a 10 min call.

Received shocking news that our photographs that we so painfully stuck on the walls are now GONE! DISAPPEARED! D:

yes the weather at nanjing is much warmer now :) i asked a few of them and they said it was rather hot today haha.

And they still recognise my voice haha. 你是陈慧琳老师！

but somehow, after a month plus, they seem a little distant? I don't know. I miss them and yet there's this like contradictory feeling? SIGH..

today got swimming lesson at poolside. Quite amusing I must say. Yiling swimming fc :) cheered for the people swimming and taking pictures and sun-tanned and hiding behind the pillars.

有感而发。

那天不知为什么，翻开在南靖所拍的照片，突然感触良多，拿起笔，开始起劲地写啊写啊。

写着写着，突然眼眶热热的，眼角一串冰凉。

我到底怎么了？

《南靖心旅》

起初，不怎么看好这次的OCIP。

2009 年12月12日，早上六点钟，我拖着笨重的行李独自一人来到了樟宜机场。心里有一种说不出的感觉。究竟是难过、紧张或担忧，我自己也搞不清。总之，我就不太看好这次到福建的海外社区活动。想到要离开新加坡、家人、亲友，到一个完全陌生的地方，就感到浑身不自在。想必，接下来的十八天一定不好过。。。眼看朋友们身边都有爸妈陪伴和送机，而自己的爸妈因为工作无法抽空，心里顿时感到酸溜溜的，感到非常的孤单。

早上七点三十分，飞机起飞了。我就此踏上了前往厦门的旅程。还是感觉落不到实地，心里隐隐的，不踏实。。。

然而，从这次的语特海外社区服务活动，我学习到的、收获的、得到的，不仅是购物商场的货品，而是真诚的友谊。从中，我也认识到了几位难得可贵的师姐及可爱的师弟们。

我被在长教小学三年二班的同学们的童真给打动了。他们真的真的很可爱。每当我踏进教室时，他们总会兴奋地迎接我，甚至跑上前拥抱我。还记得有一次因为风寒而病倒，学生们都非常关心，一齐从对面的教室喊道：“陈慧琳，你给我上来！快点教我们！不要生病了！”其中一位名叫双龙的小男生还把老师给他的口罩送给我。一个梳着两条辫的女生简语把她刚买的礼物送给我：“老师，送你一张贴贴纸，让你快点好起来，贴了就不痛了！”虽然他们关心的方式显得有些特别，但也是发自内心的真实感情。

孩子们爱给老师们写信和寄照片，其中给我印象最为深刻的是一封叫银鹭的小女孩写给我的信：

“你好陈慧琳老师你对我最好的陈老师，我而且最喜欢你，第一天，玩游戏的时候，我哭了你也带我去买东西啊，我说不要，你还带我去小便，而且我小便你还不敢看，你真懂事陈慧琳，所以我就喜欢你了。
你知道吗?我爱你陈慧琳姐姐
银鹭写”

其中，我还收到了各种各样令我哭笑不得的小礼物，有学生妈妈的结婚照，一角钱硬币，戒指，鲜花，汽水罐盖等等。虽然有些礼物实在用不着，但它们代表的却是同学们对老师的拳拳盛意。小朋友们的心意，我心领了。

在欢送会那天，我们教了孩子们一首歌名为《难说再见》。看见孩子们在台上用心的唱，尽管严重地走音，还是觉得他们唱的是我听过最好听的歌之一。心里像是打翻了五味瓶一样，心情非常复杂。脑海里一瞬间闪过与孩子们在草地上玩耍的时光、在宽阔的田园里你追我跑、吹着白绵绵的蒲公英、吃着冰糖葫芦、追着野狗、牵起他们的小手过河。。。

习惯幕起幕落，总以为明天还很多。
没想到这笑脸会让我难过。
习惯一起走过，没想你不在的生活。
泪雨也是阳光闪烁、是避风的角落。
离开会成最美的洒脱。。。
眼是心的守诺，我和你不逃过。
你是我一辈子的收获。
难说再见。。。
你的微笑遗落在我眼前。
难说再见。。。
永远不忘转身瞬间，海阔天空在明天，
再相见。。。

想到永远将与他们分离，我不禁感动地落泪了。

当我们要上巴士，离开长教小学踏上厦门的路途时，孩子们都围着我们、紧紧地拉住我们不放。“老师你别走！”我看到了平时成熟、稳重的男生落泪。虽然与孩子们只相处了七、八天的时间，可是他们早已把我们当成是亲姐姐哥哥看待。我舍不得离开这里，舍不得我的学生们！
我再一次拖着自己笨重的行李上巴士。这一次，行李箱爆开了，因为它载不动许多愁。
长教小学顿时一片哭泣、难过之声。那天的天空特别昏暗。

每当夜深人静的时候，我都会站在窗前，瞭望着天空，在想：在同一片天空下、但不同的土地上的他们，怎样了，过得还好吗？老师虽然已回到新加坡，但心依然在你们那里。老师天天都牵挂着你们、忆念着你们。我的心不知不觉地已被你们窃走了。孩子们，不要放弃学习。虽然环境困苦，没有先天学习英文的条件，千万千万不要轻易放弃。老师相信如果大家能努力，一定可以考出一片春天来。南靖村的未来就靠你们了啊，可爱的孩子们。在长教小学的八天与你们相处，老师真的真的很开心。能受到你们的爱戴，老师觉得没有白教过。八天来的辛苦是值得的。老师们辛苦为你们兴建的英文图书馆要好好利用，老师在长教的短短八天虽然不能改变你们的生活环境，唯一能做的是把世界的一个小角落带给你们。老师知道你们喜欢老师的相机和手机，总是拿它们到处拍照、玩乐。孩子们，要牢牢记住，未来就掌握在你们的小手里。希望某天某日，能目睹你们成才。到时候，就能买很多很多的相机和手机，买比老师好几十倍、几百倍、几千倍的相机和手机。愿上帝祝福你们、让你们快高长大，身体健康，永远天真快乐。爱死你们了。
时间停留在长教，美丽的记忆值得回忆。。。

怀念乡村生活、怀念坐在静静的湖边看星星的那晚。葫芦丝那飘逸、动人的声音不知从哪户家传出，扰我心神。星星闪烁、烟火灿烂，把天空照亮了起来。生命与生命的交错，是一个美丽的巧合。短暂的美丽令人激动，一瞬间，已分不出是眼前的是泪花还是烟花。我想那一晚我永远都不会忘记。绝对不会。绝对。

我们还能再相见吗？

I miss the times we sat on the rocks by the riverside and gazed at the stars in the tranquil night against the beautiful backdrop and the cricket's singing. It was simply magical.

I miss the times where we would watch the fireworks dance before our eyes while gazing at the stars and we would tear because we were touched by the beauty and shortlived-ness of it all.

或许是爱的力量，平时华文水平不怎么好的我，破天荒在这次的作文作业得了满分。老师也被打动了。。。

It's scary to see how some ppl have become so hardworking overnight.

It reminds me that I will have to buck up and work doubly hard.

A levels seems like a big monster trying to swallow me up. And J2 work seems to be harder and harder as the days go by...can someone tell me how to cope with J2 life.

I can't bear to give up my carefree life full of outings and fun. Must I sacrifice all this for my studies?

I MUST DO TUTORIALS AND COMPLETE THEM ON TIME.

Oh mans I really envy all the J3s!!!! They are having fun, working and doing things such as taking driving lessons, jap lessons and etc etc that I always wanted to do!

Yes I haven't updated by blog for almost a week.

This week has been very hectic.

Went to Hope Church on Saturday with Jolynn, mf and zk. Jap curry rice haha. Met quite alot of HC ppl. I love worshipping! It was to to be back into the embrace of God :) Last Saturday I had a singing competition at ARCC where all the grassroots people come together and participate in a friendly match. Mostly consist of adults. Everyone got a token for participating which was rather encouraging :) First-time singing duet in front of such as large crowd and first-time particpating in singing competition :) Ah sorry Xu lie for dragging you down lah. He's a really good singer from choir. I am really not used to the mics and sound system cos I can't hear myself properly and the crowd was rather noisy. But it turned out okay :D Runner-up! But quite tired of the song 屋顶 cos practised it so many times haha.

Sunday was part one of spring cleaning of the Ting Family. Woah threw alot of things away. Really tiring and dusty :( especially the store room.

hmm can't exactly remember what happened clearly last week... oh dear short-term memory :(

Sold ice-cream for SL hmm sales quite good, we had takings of about 600 plus over the span of two days. THANK YOU everyone who supported our sales :) Yes i learnt that scoping ice-cream isn't a piece of cake. It's an art. Messed up many times but thank goodness for great SL fellow exco members! Oh yes selling ice-cream makes you famous lol. Yesterday i went to Hope Church and people commented that " Hey, aren't you the one selling ice-cream in sch" and yet i didn't recognize any of them. XD

We had a learning journey to SOTA on wednesday. Had permission to leave sch early. Me and mf met Yanglu on bus 171 and chatted. SOTA is damn posh and pretty! Wished I could be a student there. Probably take up Voice instrumental. Now I think IB is much cooler than A levels. Saw a few grpmates from the LEP camp! Their chinese lesson is so interesting! :)

Thursday, me and mj went to Orchard ion to have octupus balls cos it was DOUBLE STAMP DAY! Heavenly!!! Failed attempt to locate the store for Red Mango frozen yoghurt. Walked rounds and rounds around Orchard Ion to Far East Shopping centre to realise that Far east Square is not equals to Far East Shoppping Centre. Not to mention that there's Far East Plaza too. -.- MJ!!!!! :( She thot that there is only one type of Far East.

Got new classmate in our class called David. A shy guy rather lost in class. Hmm attempted to talk to him when me and char assisted him somehow to go for bio lecture in audi. Turns out he had to attend H1 bio elsewhere. So me and char were kinda late for bio lec and had to run down before the count of 3 by mr Khairul.

OH YES ONE OF THE HAPPIEST THING THAT HAPPENED TO ME LAST WEEK! I got full marks for my zuowen on the OCIP trip :DD Renlaoshi said that it was very touching! Yes yes i can cry while reading it. It's from the bottom of my heart. I want 2 dedicate my work to 长教三年二班的学生。I love you all so very much!

Ah yes swimming with my "sister" :) at bedok swimming complex. Thanks for teaching me how to swim again! The much-needed refreshment course :D Matching swimsuits red and blue haha :) love baby alot!!! Had dinner at astons and usual orders chargrill and terriyaki chicken! Then went to drink the super nice bubble milk tea yay.

Had chingay training yesterday which ended earlier than expected and it turned out that we were able to go for church service afterall! Praise the Lord! Very friendly ppl at Hope Church :) Fungmin, calean, simin, Gao Tian, Jasmine, Peiying, Shufeng, Yuli, Zi fang, oh mans I can't remember so many names :( Yeah a great bunch of ppl! :D Shall slowly remember all your names one by one. I want to go missions trip to China/ Hong Kong after A levels. Hopefully to Fujian/ Xiamen :DD

Had a good heart-to-heart talk with MF and XY at the consultation area near the college reception. 爽快！ Oh mans it feels very good to share your troubles with GREAT friends who are willing to carry the burden with u. :) Yes, it makes it less painful to carry on with life with buddies who stick with you through thick and thin. :D

Oh yes, GP essay test today haha.

Bio lecture was horrible today cos I was trying my best to concentrate and yet the urge to go to the washroom was overwhelming. Almost 2 hours....I straight away CHIONG to the nearest toilet after lec. PHEW!

Then there was CLL lesson again when I feel asleep for the second time ! :O

We had an early release from math lessons as Mr Yeow went to the audi and scolded the naughty juniors over discipline matters. Yay early release!!! Then we stayed in class and practised singing 屋顶 :)

Did lib duty for 1.5 hours and after that, me, char and mj went to Bishan Mos Burger to have dinner. Saw Jolynn at the school bus stop and chatted for a while. :D MJ tried to snatch my phone because I captured some very discriminating evidences of her haha. Oh yes the bus ride was fun :) Chatted alot about the new class guy from Korea, heard from Jolynn that he is a nice and cute cute guy haha. Oh how exciting, a new addition to our class! :D He's called xi chan??

Ordered unagi rice burger and large milk tea. Studied for an hour or so before I felt rather tired and went to the washrm to refreshen myself up. Ah the temptation of shopping!! Bishan Junction 8! And so I went for almost an hour, lost in the land of shopping before the very worried MJ and Char called me to check if I was okay haha. They thought I had fainted in the toilet. LOL. Time passes really quickly when you are shopping :) Hmm I bought a dress that cost around 59+. Shall wear it for CNY or my cousin's wedding! :) Of course, I got chided by MJ and Char for shopping when I was supposed to be a good girl studying at Mos.

We did alot of silly stuff. Like folding cranes with the burger wrapping paper and collecting stickers used to wrap the burger LOL. And doing something mischievious with our phones =X

Today had a rather fun GP lesson today yay! Mr Koh is very interesting and I am inspired by his very cheem vocabulary and success story of his sec sch life. :) Yes I shall jot down all his words and form a wordbank book haha.

After school went to study in the sch lib with mj, char, mf. Hmm quite productive? But I would say we talked alot in between flipping the pages of the notes and doing tutorials. After mf left for H3 lesson, it became even less productive haha. Me and char started talking and chatting alot. Alot. The topic was rather sensitive lah and we got quite fired up and indignant and upset and wondered and pondered over things. I guess sometimes it's not up to us to decide how things turn out and they don't always go the way we want them to. Who cares?
Losing yourself and conforming to the majority is not always the best thing to do.
Then we started laughing over silly stuff and all. Haha I was using my earphones to listen to music and I didn't realise how loud I actually said " toilet". Ah damn embarrassing. It was utterly quiet in the library.

And we procrastinated quite a bit in the lib. Wandered about reading magazines and newspapers while char read comics and mj used the computer and looked for DVDs.

Mf tried calling me after her H3 lesson today and I answered the call. Strange how come she called me and didn't answer? I hello-ed a several times loudly in front of a few people at the counter and then clever mj realised that I didn't pluck off my earphone attached to my phone and it was in handsfree mode -.- Oh man everyone laughed so hard at me :( Ah feel so silly and blur.

Then we had a debate over where to go for dinner. Me and Char wanted macs while mf and mj protested violently, citing reasons that there was to be a height and weight taking session next week during PE lesson and wanted to cut down on unnecessary calories intake. BUT IN THE END ME AND CHAR WON!!! :D mj and mf were looked down and out and were downtrodden while me and char made a victory sign and we were glowing with happiness :DDDD haha yup mf gave in to temptation!!
